Is it a "Good Idea" to use long exposure on a tripod with a remote to white out the BG even more? I've tried that and it makes the pic brighter but what are the pros and cons?

Hi Luke. As most of them have already said…a great video and I have just subscribed…thank you for your wonderful humbleness and sharing this valuable information. I am trying to help my son and daughter in law take product shots for ebay and amazon. Its amazon where we strugle to take great product shots with complete 100% white backgorund . A couple of questions how do create what you have just shown us which is absolutely amazing but with pure white background… and secondly what about larger products and what if they are or lighter or white in colour. Hoping you can help me over here. Is there a link to something similar you have done. Incidentally I am off to the Photography show in Birmingham at the NEC so will check out an inexpensive way to do Amazon type of photos….yours look great so will check what I can buy. Where are you based…UK? Wishing you all the very best in life.
