That's photoshopped man. I have one, not once has the phone ever done that lol. Plus I have a 3k Nikon setup with interchangeable lenses, and they are close only in depth control. This is fake.

I guess Tony and Chelsea Northup would take better photos.
But can you make calls, download apps, listen to music, text message, Face Time, send emails, and surf the web with a DSLR? I do not think so. I think all those things justify that type of camera from a phone.
You are so funny, dslr bokeh are real bokeh with optical and natural, phone bokeh is just playing on software
you do know portrait mode is for people ,period.

Hey listen I’m a fan but tell me how good is a DSLRs and lens kit worth 7k at making phone calls, texts, FaceTime, WiFi, surfing the net, games, apps and fitting in your shirt pocket! Is this the best phone camera in the world, yes, is it as good as my DSLRs no. But if I don’t have my DSLRs and I want that shot, bam I have it.

Photography in 20 years is going to come down to a 6K to 8K to 10K and beyond video camera the size of a tube of Chapstick, that we’ll just pull whatever stills we want off of it, and do whatever we want to them. The challenge will be gone, and regular camera people are going to be the quirky hipsters, shaking fists at the laziness… LOL!

Have you done any testing with Google Pixel because that is still better camera than IPhone XS Max and Pixel only has one lense. What is your take on it? Google has perfected post processing software and is way ahead of iPhone and Google Pixel 3 is coming out in few weeks.

every few months there is a video about 'will this phone replace the camera?' Answer is no, unless a phone can have a large sensor, it will never match a DSLR/Mirrorless camera in quality, especially during night time. And what if you wanted to zoom in?
Stupid gimmick….can always tell right away it's not from a real high aperture lens

your pocket , you can not make a call to your gf with you dslr these are two different tools ..
So how often do you shoot portraits through a wine glass?…and can you put your DSLR in your pocket?….how about make a phone call on it?
If you haven’t yet take a look at the Focos app it’s way better than the depth editing in iOS 12. It also extends the distance you can be to take portrait pics
I hate to say Mom’s with phones will start taking photo sessions for $50 and tell you that…that you can not change DOF in fly from f1.2-f14 with your Dslr…..And people will say who needs your quality prints (1hr off work in PS)…..because customers wants just FB or Instagram shots to share how cool photographer was with his IPhone….
And soon Apple will fix this bugs with algorithm……and then… what?
I think, I will keep my D850 as a hobby…..and screw all those technology crap like IPhone, Sony, Nikon, Canon…etc. mirrorless sh*t…..😡. Who cares after all……
The real issue is most people don’t care that much about the Photos. Photographers will lose a lot of business over this. Well let’s just say professional photography will start to be narrowed.
