Running Portrait Pro Studio on Ubuntu with Wine.

UPDATE – PORTRAIT PRO 17 IS OUT AND IT ALSO WORKS FINE BUT YOU MAY HAVE TO INSTALL A NEWER VERSION OF WINE THAN IS IN YOUR REPOSITORY. AS OF MAY 2018 I’M RUNNING PP17 ON WINE 3.6

Well.. it just kinda works. While we Ubuntu and Linux people sometimes get left behind by software makers, it can be a pleasant surprise that they work flawlessly under wine.

A initially learned photography as a kid shooting black & white then developing the photos in a dark room, that was a magical time and sparked my interest in photography. As I got older I dabbled in digital photography but wasn't until my kids were born that i really started to get an active interest back in it all.

I've been trying for days to install Portrait Pro on Wine. Seems I'm missing hundreds of dlls. What packages have you installed in addition to wine to solve this dependency?
