Wedding Album: a sample from Kyo Morishima Photography

This video shows you one of our sample wedding albums in its entirety. We love designing albums because it’s one of the best ways to use the storytelling strength of photographs.

This wedding took place in Spring Lake, New Jersey, with the bride getting ready at a private home and the groom and his groomsmen at The Breakers Hotel. The bride wore a classic Pronovias wedding gown. Milagro Spa did the hair and makeup.

The wedding took place at Holy Trinity Episcopal Church in Spring Lake, and afterwards, there was a portrait session on the beach. Even though it was still early September, there was a cold wind blowing, so the bride was quite a trooper to pose out there for so long with frigid gusts of wind racing along the sand!

As a matter of fact, Kyo was secretly in cahoots with the bride and groom’s friends, who had hired a charter plane to tow a banner with a message for them. Kyo was supposed to keep them on the beach long enough for the airplane to fly overhead and surprise them. You can see that moment in the album.

The reception was held in a gloriously big tent from Sperry Tents New Jersey in the bride’s parents’ backyard. Catering was by Main Street Catering, with absolutely knockout music by The Sid Miller Band. You can see for yourself what happened on the dance floor. 😉

Ali and Brian ended their reception with a joyfully romantic “sparklers exit.”

If you’re curious about the details regarding this specific album, it’s a 12″ x 12″ Fine Art Renaissance Album in navy blue silk shantung with inset cover photo and silver leaf gilded pages.
