Lee recently flew down to Los Angeles to interview Pye Jirsa about Lin and Jirsa Wedding Photography for their upcoming educational DVD on wedding photography. We figured since he’s in town, it would be the perfect opportunity to do a little interview with Lee.
Interestingly enough, in the course of filming for the FStoppers new educational DVD, we came to the realization that we have two completely different business approaches to our respective photography studios. While both approaches differ quite radically, both of our studios are successful in their own right, simply different. In this interview, we will focus on discussing these differences and how there is definitely more than one way to skin a cat!

This kinda sucked. Maybe I'm used to the modern videos, but didn't find any of this information useful.
that was pretty hard to watch. "cant figure out lightroom"? ummmmm..
You guys are awesome. Great insight on everything you said.
Thanks for being so honest:)
sucks
I admire you both. So much sincerity. I just started to build my wedding photography business and love learning from you guys.
I've watched a lot of videos. Not sure about this interview and the low expectations of this photographer. I guess to each their own.
This video should also be titled: how to be happy by living below your means! great real world advice guys! My girl always nag me about upgrading my 2000 toyota solara lol
I think you guys should collaborate more I looked like you both get along a lot
What a profound & honest video. I don't know or follow either of the participants. But it is amazing to realize you can stumble upon a video with such honesty & integrity. The video is 3 years old so no one will read this comment. But to the participants, I give you my utmost respect. How many people in business approach their craft with such talent, introspection and self evaluation? I gained more insight into business in this single video than in my my 500 level business classes at university (years ago).
The ability of one to analyze their own methods without condemning other methods is a trait that will lead to long term success. All the best to both of you. Watching this made my day.
thank you for this vid. 🙂
Very Good
Pye has an amazing voice 🙂 I think I am in love LOL
So inspiring ♥
Lee reminds me of Stifler, and Pye, man, what a voice you got there.
Thanks guys, you are telling what IS the real business of successful photographers 🙂 thanks
You guys are so inspirational! I am so thrilled to get anything started. Iv barely realized what I wanted to do for a living not too long ago. And I am running off less than basic equipment and I am in love with this. I'm only 21 And I'm ready to start this now. But what I lack is experience. I would be more than honored if you would even consider me to assist you in anything. I would pay you to let me help you. But more than anything you guys are so inspiring.
Lee Morris, if you ever decide to have an assistant, please take me. I wish I could work with you together. You shot JPEG, you didnt want to be a wedding photographer, you didnt know how to use Photoshop, you're a free spirit, you dont have a family, you dont have a studio. everything like me, just one difference…. I'm not yet making that much money
Man that was an awesome video. Gave me inspiration to continue and grow my business. Thanks!
Great interview! It's good to see how we all start our photography path from the beginning.
Good day! Have you tested photo sfxart tricks (do a search on google)? My work buddy Jack made some mind blowing photography with their video tutorials.
Please tell your "whole long story"!
Great info and looking forward to your release.
too bad you can only "like" once 🙂 great show
