— About the Tube Stories
We are Kim Henry and Eric ParΓ©. We are a dancer/photographer duo making our way using a tube, a feather, and a flashlight. Everything we do is lit by hand, one frame at a time. Light-painting for us is a lifestyle, and this is what we share with our audience. The purpose of the Tube Stories is to bring a brighter and more colorful night to whoever is going to cross our path. Our work has been presented on the BBC, CNN, MTV, VICE, TEDx and much more.

Great to see that you have so much fun together π
You wonderful person! Thanks for sharing, I'm totally falling in love with this technique.
Epic as ever, thanks for being our guiding light.
Thank you very much for inspiring and teaching us!!!
Thanx for all the info….your artistic approach to tube lighting makes you guys the true masters of the tube.
GΓ©nial, comme toujours π
Thank you for another great video!
Actually, I cannot thank Eric and Kim enough for your inspiration.
Months of experimenting with different materials from baking paper to non-slip plastics, six different torches, and an array of coloured filters.
It cost me hundreds but instead of throwing it all in and giving up, your YouTube series kept me enthused and excited.
Because of this, I have made new friends I never would have met, been places I never would have visited, and started thinking in creative ways I never thought possible
Last week I upgraded to an EOS-R to get closer to perfecting fine-details results regardless of the light and look forward to updating our community #tubetribe #litbyhand #ericpare
Here is a link to my favourite recent photo so far thanks to getting a few stars on a full moon night on a dark and dusty country road:

Loving all of your videos as well as the community and the tribe you created, that's the best way to go!
I have been wanting to dig more into the light tube painting. I made a few tubes and played a bit last summer before in got cold. I need to work om some circles and this will help. My other issue is getting a sharp focus in low light.
This kind of content is the type of work that keeps me inspired to think outside the box, work hard, be creative, have fun. Merci tellement !!!
Great work and info as always!!! Keep it up you two!!
When will u sent me the giveaway tube
This art is so inspiring , and your videos inspires me alot to make me want to do light painting and stuff, and seriously your circles are so perfect π
Eric Sensei & Kim, about a year ago I watched your tube stories 19, the 2 year anniversary in NY, you gave a great tutorial then for how to create the perfect circle, (starts at 2.20) the only difference, & I mean the ONLY difference was that you didn't attract all the mosquitos by slapping a round of bacon onto Kim's back. You & Kim are so inspirational & provide information & advise freely to assist & encourage people to enjoy light painting, thank you so much.

Eric, you are my idol! Thanks for all the great information and tips!
Maravilloso tus trabajos!! :*
Great video! besides the advice to make good circles, also the socks for mosquito bites is useful! very informative, as always π
Votre travail est exceptionnel et vos vidΓ©os sont toujours trΓ¨s instructifs, du travail technique au cours dβarts plastiques! π
Jβadore vos photos et les rΓ©sultats obtenus sont spectaculaires. Merci de partager! π
Hahaha will the salami be shipped in your next orders too? Must be crucial to create a circle, as you two manage to make a perfect circle over and over again!
Outstanding. Eric… Did you put bread on Kim's back, in mosquito country?! Cruel… π
That's what we have been doing wrong all this time… we missed out on the salami. Next time we'll try that too! π
I'm only 15 and 2018 wasn't good for me, and the only thing that made me happy was tube light painting with my hand made tubes and my tubemate. Thanks for all the information you gave here. I'm from Spain and light painting isn't a well-known art so thanks to you I'm probably opening an exhibition on May. You are great πππ
Thank's for sharing your technique's. Who'd have though about salami! ππ. Hope Kim's not a veggie?? π€
https://youtu.be/h3KfD6N8rA4 this is my favorite because it shows a lot of variety of perfect circles in different environments and locations. You two work very hard and challenge yourselves to show us these great images. Thank you for sharing these momments with us. π»
Great video! I really love your work. And all these amazing pictures and videos on Instagram and YouTube always make me wanna do this too. I should definitely try it.
Thanks it's different than I thought. I was griping the tube but found I only get full rotation if I hold it a certain way. I must try this but looks like a lanyard is needed so the tube don't fall down. Also like the lunch meat idea. Does it have to be mortadella.
"Something nice"….cudnt resist haha…amazing work as always…is salami optional?
Very useful video, thanks! Now, I gotta go practice! La pratique, la prairie, la pratique!
Great work buddy π
Love it! Love following your work. And of course, light painting in general. Keep the content coming!
You can't imagine how many lives you inspired by your light paintings. It's not only your life changed by tubes but also many like me. I just love your work and I wish to meet you one day. Don't know when will that day will come but I'm pretty sure that we will meet soon. Kudos to both of you.
I'm not good at circle but inspired from you I'm trying this one –

Thank you for teaching and explaining this kind of photography ππ
Awsome Video Man..Love from India
I thought the ham was for the mosquitoes – are you a mosquito? π
Love it. Funny and informative. The slapping the meat circle on Kimβs back made me LOL. π
Swordsman… you make it look so simple. But really awesome locations you choose.
