In this video we walk about the recent scandal involving James Charles in which his big break was exposed to be less than what we were led to believe. James went viral on twitter when photo’s of his graduation photo were posted with an insane highlight. From this point his career only grew right to the point he became the face of cover girl. However, in this instance it appears Thomas Halbert has exposed exclusive text messages between the two of them suggesting the photo shown was infact retouched and was not due to James bringing his own ring light to the photo shoot.

the multiple photo thing is only for senior pictures haha and you have to generally pay for extra poses. So they take the photo and then you can ask for outfit changes, poses, etc. But everything is extra money and its only for your last photos so you can send them out to family and whatnot

I noticed shortly after this video was posted, James Charles posted a video to YouTube on how to edit your selfies in the FaceTune app lol
I think him photoshopping the makeup is wrong because it discredits all others in the makeup industry who take it as an art form and are able to present their true talents through it. And if a fake makeup look is what he got famous for, that just shows how easy people can be tricked with editing in art. His fame could have been given to someone who is truly there for the artistry and not for likes
I appreciate James because everytime he has gotten backlash he either apologizes or explains everything. I don't think there is anything wrong with editing if he is being open about it. I mean he says he edits his stuff so who cares?
