A initially learned photography as a kid shooting black & white then developing the photos in a dark room, that was a magical time and sparked my interest in photography. As I got older I dabbled in digital photography but wasn't until my kids were born that i really started to get an active interest back in it all.

Not a wedding. These are elopement/engagement photos that the couples get done after being married by the local authority where they have their hukou registered.
After that they have these photos taken before their wedding ceremony. They rarely ever have actual photographers at the wedding because it's a majorly boozy party where their parents, friends, relatives, and business connections all get hammered; nobody wants to immortalise that.
Also these photos may seem amazing, but consider that everyone who can afford to will go to a cookie-cutter studio and get similar (if not exactly the same) shots done – often in the same dress!🙄
The photographer at our wedding took some crappy on-camera flash snapshots of us, but disappeared straight away. We got 3 small prints out of them 🤣
