Prabhu Deva (born 3 April 1973) is an Indian dance choreographer, actor andfilm director and. He has worked in Tamil, Telugu, Bollywood, Malayalam and Kannada films. He has garnered two National Film Awards for Best Choreography. Prabhu Deva was born to Mugur Sundar, a choreographer & Mahadevamma. Raju Sundaram and Nagendra Prasad are his brothers.

Prabhu Deva married Ramlath who changed her name to Latha. They had three children, but their eldest son died of cancer in 2008. He was live-in relationship with the actress Nayantara from 2010 to 2012.
