This mounting clamp allows you to attach extra accessories such as light, monitors, microphones etc to your gimbal. It is specifically designed for the DJI Ronin S and Zhiyun Crane 2 but in my testing I found it also works great with my favorite gimbal, the Moza Air 2. Aside from the extra mounting points the Spider clamp also comes with a strap that lets you take the weight off your arms. This can be very helpful when working with heavy gimbal and camera setups for long periods of time.

Funny that you should put this up, as last year I did exactly that using a SmallRig gimbal rod clamp: https://www.smallrig.com/smallrig-rod-clamp-for-zhiyun-crane-v2-crane-plus-crane-m-2170.html, a 1/4" eye bolt, and camera strap. Also, on the other side of the clamp I attached a small Arca Swiss plate and can now easily mount the gimbal on a ball mount on my slider. it seems great accessory, my question would be, is it flexible enough to have the belt on? what if you want to go for low shots, I know you can adjust it but for a fast paced event shoots, is it useful? would you imagine shooting a wedding with this strap? I would be interested because I shoot weddings with ronin s 🙂 and its already quite heavy.. thanks in advance.
Excellent idea. It isn't that much more than a double shoulder flag pole harness.

Hi Tom, what monitor arm are you using on this setup?
I don't like that it gets in the way of the trigger on the Moza but this is a necessary accessory.
