Dr. Marianne Hirsch and Dr. Leo Spitzer of Columbia University and Dartmouth College discuss what we can learn by analyzing the school photos of Jewish, Black and Indian students in pre- and post-WWII nationalizing contexts.
Drs. Hirsch and Spitzer spoke in March and April 2014 as part of the Stroum Center for Jewish Studies’ annual Stroum lecture series.
