Hi Taylor, Thanks for making the video. How reliable do you find the AF in low light of the Tamron 35mm, specially compared to other 35s for Nikon?

Thanks for this series. I have no plans what so ever to become a wedding photographer. But this really helps me documenting my friends and family.

Thanks for sharing your lens choices. I always loved my F100's but Nikon dropped the ball back in the early digital days so it was off to Canon for me. Like a lot of photographers I love my primes but honestly and have worked that way for many years but my 24-70 L mk2 lens is superb in quality with a lovely look and so versatile, it's a must have at weddings for me. I capture most things with it and love the freedom of holding one body only. and also not changing lenses all the time.

Me and my wife have a very similar kit.. Just we have Nikon 85mm 1.8 and Tamron g2 70-200 (they aren't as good as ones you have but solid performers for the cost..) But I am looking into my first 1.4 lens this Christmas and the 58mm is number 1 option on my list how do you feel about the 58mm vs 105mm 1.4?

Do you mind if I ask- How come you dont shoot with the D500? I remember your D750 VS D500 review, and you led me to believe the D500 was the boss.

  16. L White says

Hey can you speak on the D850 a little more. I’m concerned with camera shake ( minimum shutter speeds ) and how is medium raw performance

  17. Jon Burrows says

The canon strap adds a least 1 extra stop of VC to Nikon

  18. Aaja Studio says

    Question
How do you get your D850 & D750 to match when editing?

I shoot with D800 & D750 but when I come to edit, the D800 Color looks better.
Do you have any tips for fix that?

  21. Ernest says

Thank you Taylor for another great content I do have the the Tamron 85mm f/1.8 VC what is your AF fine tuning or AF calibration on the D750? And I have the 50mm f/1.4D you think 58mm f/1.4 is a worthy upgrade to the 50mm f/1.4D, Thank you for your input and have a great and safe week and weekend

  22. Amila Sandaruwan says

Do you see any color difference between D750 vs D850 ? I kind of a see brownish on D750. I have D610 and I love the skin tone comes out but not the D750. Dont you see any difference ?

  23. Christopher O'Grady says

I usually shoot with a crop body and a full frame body, with a 20 and an 85. Swapping the lenses between the two cameras during the day. So you have approx a 20, 35, 85, 135, equivalents. Works well for me. I’ve always avoided 70-200 lenses but since the fl came out I’m very tempted to save up.
