Great stuff Mathew . What a beautiful place and you managed to do it justice . Using yourself as a subject adds to the scale of the image and the blending is a perfect way to complete it in such harsh lighting conditions.
The good thing about mirrorless and using an intervalometer means you don’t blitz the shutter as when used on a dslr

1st rule in photography is there are no rules. The 2nd rule of photography is go back and read the 1st rule. Seriously though Matt your creative approach is great and as always, a good example of visualising what is you want to achieve then turning that into the final image.
