Why do you do landscape photography. As much time and money as we spend on our obsession, Its worth asking the question. Here is my answer to that question.

If i could quit my Monday through Friday job where I have to be up at 2am and work until the work is done I would, but photography wouldn't pay the bills. So dont act like this is just a drive of yours and you are sacrificing and not making money doing what you enjoy. I find this hard to believe. Sorry to be so blunt and honest.

Love your work. I have a question I hope you can help me with. I am going on a once in a lift time trip to Ireland, Dublin. I have a Canon 6D, canon lenses 70-200 f4, 24-105 f4 , 100 mm macro, Rokinon 14 mm wide angle, Canon 50 mm. A Canon 60D also. I know traveling light is a must, with you having been to Ireland what should I take, is a tripod a must. I am going towards the end of April, rain gear for sure!
Do you know of any photography tours that go around Dublin that will hit the highlights of the area. Any advice you can give will be greatly appreciated. Your vlogs of Ireland are amazing!

Nick, you were the first landscape photography YouTuber I watched. A little over a year ago. I was initially drawn to your channel because I love the PNW and was planning a trip there so I wanted to get some idea of what to expect. Your humility, honesty and your awesome images hooked me. Watching someone going through the process of composing and shooting and sharing their thoughts was and is awesome. This led me to Thomas and Adam. And of course when you all linked up it increased the enjoyment more than four fold. Even enough for me to tolerate Gavin's humor. ;-). Thank you so much for sharing.

Well said and nice video. The only thing that I do I see now is that unless you have a blog or do youtube videos you are just another photographer out there. I have no intentions of starting to do videos. I'll watch yours instead.
