I'm getting closer to an hour with my SLB60W – not sure why you're getting such short runtime

good lights for the price … .. just a thought for your dynamic range & low noise… have you looked at other cameras ? i ditch Canon & so happy now i shoot with the Sony a7riii ..just amazing dynamic range & high ISO performance… like what you do…. liked & subed
They do look amazing for everyday use and I like their level of warmth, quite often constant lighting is very cold. As you pointed out you have kept your monos, I think they’ll be needed for all the splash shots etc and I’m not sure how the physics of constant lighting will overcome the advantages of super high speed sync.
Very useful. Could you use the light while charging?
thanks for the very informative video
would you please make a video about photographing food with Fresnel light mixed with flashes?
I always LOVE your cinematography, not just your stills. Do you light those sequences as well? Or do you have a separate cinematographer? Finally, you look like you're using just one light with a diffuser on those shots….is that right? Keep sharing and thanks!
How do you store all of your props for food photography?
At some point I would like to do product shots and food photography I'm a video guy expanding my repertoire of visual offerings . I just have to keep on trying till I get there and then when I'm ready I will invest in a medium format camera like the Fuji GFX cameras, since I can not in no way afford nor justified the purchase of a Hasselblad and lenses. That larger format will really make the tones and tonal range worth it's weight in gold allowing a better end result and I can demand higher prices from clients when they see the difference. I am of course getting way ahead of myself here but that is the direction that I am setting for.
I know you said it doesnt matter for shooting still food photography which light (yellow or daylight balanced) but wonder if you could explain further if it would be beneficial to buy the daylight if going to shoot video and stills with the light eventually?
What key light do you use in this video for yourself?
Thanks, it was another informative video. for the battery issue, you can use AC-DC adaptor if you use it in the studio.
Thank you so much! Awesome tutorial videos! Where could I purchase the overhead stands for a canon 5d iv?
How is the noise coming from these once they get hot? Will they pick up in the video’s audio?
Great video man..subscribed..u do brilliant content
I have the SL60W from Godox. They are the non-battery versions, and they are fantastic. They have a really good SRI rating, so really good colour rating.
The remote controls makes working with these ones, a lot easier too.
Great video btw.
NEW SUBSCRIBER….so glad I found your channel. This was super helpful as I almost always use artificial light…I'm going to check out this Godex light
