wedding photography posing guide – the bride’s eyes – best bridal photo ideas
As a wedding photographer I always go for a set number of poses which I have practiced and developed over the years. They become a reflex and in know the best ways to achieve the best results without thinking. The bride’s eyes is one of the poses I always take as this is a guaranteed success among the couples. It does not matter is the bride is not a super top model, just focusing on the eyes and get a nice detailed portrait is a success.
So what I do is ask the groom the turn his back to the camera, and ask the bride to hug him, and rest one hand on the groom’s shoulder, the other wrap around holding the bouquet and hide half to the face so the focus of the image will be only the eyes. Sometimes depending on the circumstances we end up with the complete face shown however this is a very good pose and as mentioned earlier a recipe for a good shot.
Just remember to be in a shady area and not in full sun, to have a nice diffused light and no shadows. You cannot go wrong with this pose. after this you can also ask the groom to turn around his face and have a cheek to cheek portrait, while still in the same position. ANd that is one of the best bridal poses I have to take at all wedding
Great tip will use it for upcoming shoot

I have done 2 free ones so far and have no problem doing more for free for the experience but its like you said awkward, and uncomfortable hahaha I gues its something that every beginer goes trough. Thanks for the quick tip and I am excited to see your coming up videos. By the way do you have google+ account ?
as a quick tip, just do it as many times as you can and you will become more comfortable. Try to do few sessions for free so there is no pressure to deliver. My first portrait session was awkward…silence and stress, but now we laugh out loud having fun…
practice and time!
