Another great video Robert!! My question is this, which type of paper is best for school portraits? What are you using?
I am gonna photograph school students tomorrow
Rob hats off to you, I love the fact that you can edit on your tablet or iPad, what’s that system called? I would love to know more about it, it looks like Lightroom which I do have! Please make a tutorial on it!🙏
great tutorial. How do you match the name with the pic of each studio.
How do you know what students go with what photo. I would get confused with so many kids.
How do you handle focus? So you rely on auto focus, how do you handle cast from school lights? I have a tough time with that goofy green, yellow cast at school. Thanks.
Hi ! Great video thanks for sharing these helpful tips…. i also do a lot of weddings and family portraits and more. I want to get into School Portraits and my question is, what is the first step? who did you go talk to, what were their requirements, also an idea of pricing …. or do you only charged the parents? please advise me i have no idea where to start… schools seem a bit intimidating lol
You print all the pictures yourself?
Awesome, I love your advices, but I would like to transition from family photographer to Daycare one. Can you guide me about softwares and organizing?
Great video! The Halo right there, is continuous light, or is a flash?
the light closest to you, what angle is it at and what are your settings for ap,ss ?
I do schools as well, my question is you shoot in portrait and it looks like ratio 4×6? my images get used for yearbook as well, do your images get cropped for yearbook?
Are you using a barcode scanner how do you keep them in order?
Good, helpful video Robert. It was such a coincidence that you just posted it as only 5 minutes earlier I had a call from a parents group asking me about school photos. If I could offer one suggestion which I find is something that I want to say to most YouTube channels is the background music gets very annoying. I don't know if it's because I am a musician that I always notice but that same passage of music playing constantly really gets on my nerves by the end of the video. Maybe if it was a little lower in the mix or for my taste only used at the beginning or end or switched to a different song. Anyway that's my taste and hope you don't mind me saying. 😊
