Yes, but I'd add in the 85mm, f1.4 IS L lens, which is the most beautiful lens that I own.

All the same gear I have, more or less. I use the Tamron 24-70 because it has VC ("Vibration Compensation") whereas the Canon 24-70 does not include IS. My 100mm is the L-series – GORGEOUS shots!

Just looking to get out of the medical field I've worked in for years, and more into weddings and such.

Do you run one camera body and change lenses as you need too or do you run both camera bodies, one with the 70-200mm and one with the 24-70mm? Thank you

I'm with you. Zooms all the way. Yes, I love primes but for ease and simplicity, ZOOM.

Best video I have seen to date on wedding photography gear/lenses by far. Nice job Chris…

I upgraded to the mark 3 purely for the dual card slots. I've had two cards fail in my time shooting weddings, so it's a must for me.

    Ever use the 135mm F2?

I'll list off my gear for weddings/journalism that I use: Nikon D810 (Primary), Nikon D5 (Secondary at least for weddings), Tamron 15-30 2.8, Nikon 24-70 2.8, Tamron 70-200 2.8, Tamron 35mm 1.8 VC, Tokina 100mm 2.8 Macro, Nikon 50mm 1.4, Zeiss Milvus 85mm 1.4, 3 Yongnuo 568 EX Speedlights, 4 Triggers, Corded Trigger, 8 64gb XQD 6 64gb CF 6 64gb SD Cards in a ThinkTank wallet, Two D5 batteries, 3 Nikon EN-EL15 Batteries, Various Cables, Various Filters, Folder of Model Releases, Benro CF Tripod w/ B4 head, 3LT CF Monopod, Apple 15" MacBook Pro, BlackRapid Strap, and believe it or not I fit all this in a ThinkTank Hard Drive backpack. I know this sounds excessive but I often supply a second shooter that I will invite with me so they work off this bag as well.
