How to edit wedding photos in lightroom | Fixing challenging & underexposed images
Hey guys!! Welcome back to this week’s video. Today I’m diving into sharing how to edit wedding photos in Lightroom – especially those underexposed and unideal images. I like my images to feel bright, romantic, and elegant so even when I photograph weddings in darker areas inside, I want my final edits to reflect this look.
Hope you enjoy this video~

Hello, this tutorial was so beneficial!! I am a stationery designer, do you have any tips on how to edit photos of wedding paper goods?
Love your videos but I would like to add to this one that if you load the images into Adobe Bridge and open the RAW files in Photoshop, it is a lot easier and faster to bulk edit and save. And you can convert lightroom presets to use in ACR. I tried lightroom for about 6 months and always hate it when you have to go to PS for a few things, so instead of switching back and forth, why not use one program that does it all? JMHO. Cheers.
My favourite way to edit is in camera raw in adobe bridge. It’s similar to Lightroom but the photos come up on the left side. To do more in depth editing I open the photo in photoshop (for things like liquidating etc.) can you do all that in Lightroom?
Great video!!
Really nice wedding photo editing. thanks for share
I love your style and the way you edit your pics! I was just wondering do you spend so much time on editing every single picture? Isn't it then too much time consuming?
There are like a million and 1 places to print albums. I am just starting to sell albums to my clients and want to offer them the best. Is there one that you suggest using? I would love to print a sample album soon!
hi, Joy. Is lightroom is enough for you to edit your photos?
Did you edit everything picture you take for the wedding? Or would you recommend that edited pictures can be an add-on purchase?e.g. 50 edited pictures for X amount or 100 edited pictures for X amount? Or just edit all pictures you give to your clients?
I’m kind of confused. When I upload images from my DSLR onto my MacBook it’s ALWAYS blurry? But on the camera itself it is nice and crisp. So, I upload it on WordPress my blog and it’s still very blurry, the quality is just boring not as good as seeing it on my camera screen, or just even worse! I’m wondering if this is a lens problem or WordPress/computer problem? Should I invest in Lightroom to edit my photos better. I need help!! Thank you
Hello!!!! I really really love your style! <3 Can you please show us your export settings for printing and for different social media posts? 🙂 pretty please! <3

This was a really great demo! I am just starting to use Lightroom (Photoshop gal over here) but this all makes a lot of sense and looks gorgeous too! ❤
Amazing video Anyone there .lm looking for an editor to help me with weddings and photo shoots in Lightroom
Hello Joy, great tutorial on your editorial piece. Keep up the good work.
Thanks for sharing, what software do you use for screen recording?
sucks being color blind. always have to ask for 2nd opinions from the normal people.
5:06 your data shows f1.4 & 1/160…. just sayin'!
Hey Joy … Love your channel…
Do you have a link where you purchased your presets?
where to you purchase your presets?
Quite late to the party here but I've been watching your videos for the past few days (loved the IG live streams!) and am considering getting Lightroom. How many images are you typically editing for a wedding and does it take you 5 mins or so per image, how many hours do you roughly factor in after a wedding for editing. Thank you! X
thank you for sharing I love your style!! what type of computer do you use to edit your pictures? and do you calibrate your monitor to get accurate colors ?
lightroom user here 100% ! thank you from Argentina.
Hi Joy! Love your channel. I wanted to know how to get sharp images (at a distance like you did in this photo) with a 50 mm and a wide aperture. Thanks in advance!
I've watched a few of your videos, I have to say I love you channel! To be blatant, I've benefited most from your wedding day details and the styling board videos. Thank you so much for taking the time and effort to help us out.
This is so helpful! Great video, and gorgeous final image! I learned a lot!
JM, after you edit in LR where do you export the finished shot to to print. I have been wrestling with what the proper workflow should be but I haven't decided what to do yet. Thanks FDF
This is amazing!! Thank you so much ❤️ I love how creamy the image is! Do you sharpen your images at all?
Love these tips! I have wanted to learn more about editing using Lightroom!!
Thank you! I was waiting for this video!!!
