Thank you Dave! Best stacking video I have seen. Will use your technique from here on. I think I need to give myself a break…you said you sometimes spend 1 – 3 hours on a photo. I am pissed with myself if I spend 5 minutes…maybe that’s why they look so shitty.
great, but it goes to fast with clicking and I dont know where you click. So I did not learn 100% as so many pieces are missing. You know what you are doing, but when explaining, it would be nice to show what you do also. Will keep watching though. Thanks for sharing.

Another great tut Dave. Led me over to Tony's tut on Luminosity masks. I downloaded the free basic panel for CC, but will see if I need to pay the $35 for additional modules or not. Rather do that, than start creating my own actions when I rather be shooting.

Is your color space in PS AdobeRGB98 and LR ProPhotoRGB? why not have these match?
Hey Dave, I'm going through your lessons and they're great! I have a question if you have the time to answer. I've watched your video about Hyperfocal distance and i believe i understand it. I'm just a bit confused as to the relation between hyperfocal distance and focus stacking. I mean if you find your focus point with hyperfocal, it should ideally make the image sharp from foreground to background if done correctly right? So when you do focus stacking in this video, you say that you start to focus at the background/infinity and work your way to the foreground, so does that mean you don't do the hyperfocal technique when you do focus stacking? As i assume you would first find your focal point at foreground if you did and also if the image would be sharp throughout there's no need to take more photos unless there's a question of wanting different exposures on the sky vs foreground etc? Basically, is hyperfocal and focus stacking two separate techniques to achieve what you're going for? This is rather confusing to me and it'd be amazing if you managed to clear it up heh. Anyway thanks for sharing!

But I must disagree with the scaled version to make up for the corners, you should just use content fill aware, this way you avoid destroying pixels in your photo!

Can I focus stack with a 10 stop nd? Like lets say I'm focused on clouds in the distance and I want to smooth them out but I also have flowers in my immediate foreground I want nice and sharp without any movement. Can I simply remove the nd and shoot the flowers with a faster shutter?
can we use Bracketing method (HDR) while we doing focus stacking?
and how about if we blending in HDR software with focus stacking method plus Bracketing method?
If you were to do HDR alongside focus stacking, how would you process the images? Would you create the HDR photos and then stack them on top of each other after?
Hey Dave, is DOF blending the exact same as stacking photos you talked in this video, just different terms?
No need for Lightroom or even bridge. Just with photoshop is possible to blend all the photos.

I have a question in regards to focus stacking, which is, i have seen people mixing hdr and focus stacking, but wouldnt focus stacking negate the need for this, as when you for example focus on the foreground, you would also exposre for this, then when you focus on the clouds, it would expose for this also, so that when you blend them, wouldnt it also make it HDR in theory, or am i missing something?
