PlayMemories Camera Apps – "Cinematic Photo" | Sony
This app creates a unique and thoroughly enchanting hybrid movie-still photo in which only a portion of the image is moving. The effect draws the eye to the moving portion of the image, making it stand out from the rest of the composition.

👍☕
you can easily do this in photoshop or something comparable, and it will look much better.
T^T not for a5100
I do like play memories my issue with the apps for example we have 2 cameras and heaps of extras inc lenses, spent big $$$ on sony. Why are the apps not free? Would it not be better for marketing, for the apps to be free. Cheers
Its a cool app, I hope they make it available on other sony cameras.
I saw this on the app store and wanted to buy it and do a review/guide. Looks really cool, it's a shame it isn't available for more cameras.
I can see that Trolls and angry, frustrated people are here 🙂
Some people come on forum just to criticize and complain, what have YOU created? Since you are so smart what are you waiting to create your own succesfull buisnes?
You may dislike something but do you really have to always be negative?
This app is not a dream app but it exists and some people may like it, so good, noone pushes you to buy or download it. It doesn't make your life a living hell (unless you are mentally sick) but it can make other people life a bit better if they are happy with it.
God the Sony camera interface is horrible. The RX100 has the best industrial design of all cameras but 1000$ for a horrible impracticable interface and inability to record in 4K correctly (because of overheating and battery)? Overpriced crap.
Compatible with a6000?
Would be simpler to use with a touchscreen
nice!
Ok, that was actually pretty cool 🙂
