I'm in Tasmania! Travel Photography Vlog
LOCATION: TASMANIA, AUSTRALIA
Hey everyone, I’m SO excited to share my Tasmania travel vlog with you all today! Dan and I went to Tasmania to capture photo and video for a wedding and decided to take a few extra days to explore a place in Australia we’ve always wanted to go to.
Places we went to:
Lake St Claire
Cradle Mountain National Park
Freycinet National Park
There’s also lots of photography related things in this vlog AND I finally included some before and after photos! All photos were edited with my Amalfi Lightroom Preset:
Check out my Wedding Photography with Only Prime Lenses video HERE:

I have one more video/tutorial coming from Tasmania which will be released this Saturday!
Leave all your comments below, I love hearing from you all 🙂 And check out Dan and I’s Instagram (links below) – I have a personal and professional Instagram account where I will be sharing photos from this trip!

Thank you so much for watching! xx
Yay found another photography vlog that looks to be super under rated! This was awesome good luck to your channel's growth.
New subscriber here. I am really
Enjoying your channel.
I live in tasmania
Loved your vlog…wishing to visit tasmania soon
What a very nice video, I enjoyed it a lot because it shows a beautiful side of Australia that is unknown to so many.
I visited the east coast in April 2017 including a whole day between Friendly Beaches, Coles Bay and the Freycinet National Park. The view from that lighthouse at Cape Tourville is amazing, with The Nuggets, Carp Bay and Sleepy Bay. The good thing is that on this Sunday I hope to be there again and then Launceston on Monday. I have an ambitious schedule this time, my second time over there, it's time to leave sunny QLD for a lot of fun and photos. You need to go there again and include Bay of Fires, the Tessellated Pavement (I went crazy with a rectilinear fisheye lens), Devil's Kitchen and so many extraordinary beaches, I suggest you rent a campervan and enjoy without limits. Cheers! @sjazzphoto
So amazing place! Nice vlog:)
Please tell what's the name of song and singer at 5:20
your content is inspiring, a lot of take aways for a photo enthusiast like me hope to learn a lot from your channel. someday ill be a fulltime photographer too.
Hope you had time to take the fairy penguin tour at Low Head. It's one of the few places I know where you can potentially get up close to those little guys and be able to take non-flash photos of them.
i think you lose some details when u edit, just my opinion, but still look good, good work overall, keep it up
are you using one of your luts in this video? colors are amazing!
You deserve way more subs, also nice to see a travel photography vlog you should do more vlogs. Keep up the hard work !
Amazing travel log, loving your tutorials! The song at 9:40 fits the mood perfectly! Who sings it!
Got burned out a bit with photography but then I found your channel! I really enjoy the content and seeing how much fun you have and the joy photography gives you. I'm heading to Poland in a couple months with my wife to visit Krakow and Zakopane and you Polish Vlogs got me pumped. High five for having a Polish significant other 🖐! Thank you for the time and effort you are putting into your channel!
So relaxing❤️
I love your channel so much ! Very informative and relaxing ! Love it !! <3
Great vlog, looks like you guys had fun. So I noticed no camera strap? This is very weird to someone who uses two at the same time. (I use a blackrapid sling style in case of drops, and a wrist strap to keep it under control and keep it in reach)
nice video great photography and Dan good with video – seems colder in Tasmania – but amazing how warm it is in Australia when it is so close to Antartica
Welcome to Australia! So cool to have you here!
I live in Launnie! how cool
Do you shoot in raw for your pics?? I just downloaded lightroom and all Ive used is jpeg so im not sure if i should make the switch to raw
Wow Julia. Such a great video! Thanks for sharing this
I’m from Tasmania! This is awesome 🤗
Julia! Ever think about upgrading to the 5d mark iv? Isn't the improved autofocus, image quality, touch screen, autofocus points, more megapixels worth the upgrade? I can't decide whether to buy the mark iv or the mark iii and just buy L lenses. But I don't plan on buying another camera if I buy either one, so I want to make sure I make the right decision since this will be the camera I will use forever! What do you think? The iii did come out in 2012, is it getting outdated?
Nice one.
Absolutely loved this vid🤗 Really must start doing some myself🤔☺
Advice for your 35mm: while on the body, remove the lens and when it stops, place a finger to line up with the dot on the camera. Then stick a colour gaff tape on it.
Hey Julia, just wanna say, love watching your videos, and it really drives my interest in photography. hope to see more of your videos! thank you!
👌
Tasmania… That's just about the other side of the World for me 🙂
Thank you, Julia — excellent as always. You were shooting landscapes at f1.2? You might want to stop down a bit for better depth of field.
cool
Anyone have any tips to help grow their vlog channel? I've just started and I'd like to maybe work my way form 11 subs to 50. Any ideas?
You take amazing photos!
Beautiful scenery oh my goodness!
And amazing pictures as always 💓
Great shots, before and after….Guys..
The place looked lovely. Beautiful nature and just the two of you.. 🙂
And it was fun to watch you both click each other's pictures (sadly no one was there to capture the behind the scenes of it :))
Well have you vlogged/shot behind the scenes of the wedding shoot? If yes, then looking forward to it.
i m really enjoying this channel as a beginner photographer and i think am going to learn a lot from you 😍 youre so inspiring good job <3
hermoso Video !! Saludos desde Argentina !!!
