A initially learned photography as a kid shooting black & white then developing the photos in a dark room, that was a magical time and sparked my interest in photography. As I got older I dabbled in digital photography but wasn't until my kids were born that i really started to get an active interest back in it all.

thanks for quick tips
was definitely taking notes, thanks!
Great video!
great video, but you keep mispronouncing the word bouquet… it's not bokeh
This was so helpful. Tomorrow I'm shooting an elopement and sometimes I just need a little refresher. Very inspiring! Thanks for sharing these great tips.
That "weird flower" is Crocosmia 'Lucifer.' Great tips by the way! (Subscribed.)
Great tips will have to remember them for my next wedding session
what is your body and lenses?
I loved those 2 pictures your wife took 🙂 Definitely will try something like that and you nice videos, thank you 🙂
Are you shooting through a loupe?
Nice tips and examples to go along with them.
Congratulations on your upcoming marriage! I'm so glad my photographers grabbed the detail shots at my wedding 3 years ago, because I was walking around in a daze and did not actually see much of what was going on during the wedding. I was so happy to be able to look over my photos and see how my friends and family had decorated for me. Great videos. I subscribed.
Do you use that 50mm most?
Really helpful! I always get excited when I see you've posted new videos because they really do help me out! Thanks!
All right..I liked your reply, but the overuse of any word (like, awesome, you know, OK) really is distracting! The use of language is changing, but current buzz words should be used sparingly when you do a lecture, and I assume that you want to be taken seriously for a long period of time (YouTube is forever) You do want to reach people of all ages, don't you? Listen to your talk and concentrate on the word.
I"ve been a photographer and sometime university level instructor for a long time, and the use of language is so important. You should try to reach every one of your followers with good content and information, not slang..
Awesome 🙂
Please, unless you're 12 years old..don't say "awesome" every second word. It's very distracting!
Can't wait for the other tips!!!
Thank you for all your wonderful helpful videos… I am a self taught photographer, starting form landscapes. Which after posting a lot to my instagram and facebook. My friends and family all started to get very interested in my work, and looked forward to more and more pictures. Well time went on and then they started asking if I did portraits and such. Im not quite a full year of doing photographer with paying clients vs just fun landscapes, and well everything I have learned has been from youtube and trial and error. I must say I have a lot more to learn but I feel I am picking it up and learning very fast, and maintaining new clients pretty steadily. I came across your youtube channel from your, Lightroom 5 // Wedding Editing Tutorial // Off Camera Flash video… And since been a subscriber. I love your content very informational and very helpful!! Thanks, and keep up all the great work!
Are u always using 50mm for the wedding, sir?
This was excellent and I can't wait to see your tutorial when we get to go on a shoot with you. I loved the self portrait one so can't wait for the next!!
Nice tips. Something that always confuses me (and unrelated to your tips) is which lines to use when 'straightening' a photo. In the last photo for example, you have the vertical lines of the wall to the right (around windows) and the horizontal lines in the wall straight ahead. Which do you use for aligning the photo when multiple lines are present? Awesome video!
Excellent tips and video as usual. You should do a video about second shooter duties or what you expect your second shooter be responsible for.
Really enjoy your videos. You explain everything so well and the videos never seem too long. Keep them coming.
What's the view finder thing you're using on your camera?
Great tips. I definitely learned some new things that I will implement into my wedding shoots! I always enjoy your videos.
