A initially learned photography as a kid shooting black & white then developing the photos in a dark room, that was a magical time and sparked my interest in photography. As I got older I dabbled in digital photography but wasn't until my kids were born that i really started to get an active interest back in it all.

Class of '78
Well I Neva! These days, I'm a Real Estate Photographer, and when people ask where I learned photography, I always say, "US Navy Photographic A School." They invariably scoff and ask, "why would the Navy have a photography school?"
Class of '94 here. My favorite time in the Navy.
Class of '63, typed lesson plans for 'c' school instructors. Then 2 years to FAPL NAS Atsugi, our newly installed Kodak 38's were uprooted and sent to Cubi Pt. in the P.I. for aerial recon over SE Asia. then 18 months at post grad school in Monterey, then two years active reserve out of Los Alamitos air station. Still take pics of my doxie dogs, cactus flowers and videos with my JVC 890 memory chip pro video for fun. Photography …It's an addiction.
Go class of 82
Go Class of 1986-87! TARPS Rules!
Navy trashes a tradition to become more Politically Correct. Nothing compares to a Navy Photomate.
Do you have any video from Scicex '96 that you could upload? I had been thinking about uploading a video that you kind of hastily edited on board, which I have on VHS. Now that you have your own channel I'd rather see if you have anything a little more polished.
