Retouching School Pictures!
A company responsible for the majority of school portraits offers two options when it comes to editing pictures; “basic retouching or “premium retouching.” Real fam, how do you feel about retouching kids’ school photos?
Senior year my mom finally asked me if I wanted to get retouched. I had a lot of pimples and it was my senior photo and she wanted me to look pretty.
But I just don’t want to look different in a picture to how I look in real life. I took it normal and now looking back I am able to recognize myself and remember who I am.
We never bougjt those pics when i was a kid we just kept the proof 😂
WHATEVER FLOATS YOUR BOAT!!! DO IT!!! PLAIN AND SIMPLE!!😍😘💯 BUT I WOULDN'T DARE CHANGE MY CHILD'S PICTURE TO MAKE THEM LOOK LIKE SOMETHING THEIR NOT!!!😒😕 IT'S CALLED MEMORIES FOR A REASON!!! TO LOOK BACK AND REMINENCE BRINGS THE HEART FULL OF LAUGHTER AND JOY… 😘💯
Yes loni😂😂😂 the wicker chair
I remember when I had my photo done you can choose the background you wanted but then I couldn't wear whatever color you had as your background cause when the photo came out it was from the middle of your chest to the face.
They retouched my senior photos and instead of whitening my teeth they put pink on it.
We don’t have that option in Britain I don’t think 😁
Yes, i stopped purchasing my child's school photo…their skin colour is always wrong. We're more like Loni's colour. My kids photos comes back so black you can only see the whites of their eyes and teeth. Ridiculous!
I agree with the skin lightening being a bad no no… but y’all stay sensitive with everything. I’m glad they did retouching for mine in highschool, it wasn’t too over the top it was just a little. If you don’t want the retouch then don’t get it smh
New to the real fam! You ladies are all so beautiful! Praying for Tamera and her family. 🙏
Eh I took all my Life touch pictures down. under lock and key, I don't need to relive those memories.
My Senior portrait I wish I could redo. I took it down and put a bed sheet over it.
where's tamera

😂 exactly!!..
Jeanie is my life😂😂😍😍👏🙌
Only pictures I know you need to be to retouch our younger kids pictures a lot of times the kindergarten Pre-K first grade second grade they go to gym and recess before they take your pictures and the hair is all over the place my brother was so shocked when it said would you like your daughter's pictures when we touch and brush her hair down it looks as if she put her finger in electrical socket LOL but as far as face and blemishes no
They offered it with my son's pictures and we just didn't mark for any if you want it do it if not then dont
I used to always get basic retouching because I was so embarrassed about my pimples and acne. I think it just depends which is why it is “optional”. I don’t agree with the lightening of skin though, but everything else I’m okay with.
Yes omg my school pictures and IDs were just ugh ugly. Me and my friend turned our so white we had ghost eyes
We need to see if the glow up is real!!! Need to keep the school pictures basic
I got the touch ups because I had two giant mosquito bites on my face. Besides, it's an option, and kids don't even think that much about it.
Even in school pictures , these women can find racism. I'm outta here.
“Damn she aight” 😂😂😂😂😂
I get my pictures altered since I feel really self conscious of my acne
I'm a former photographer for Lifetouch. Honestly, most studios take people off the street and teach them the basics. Most photographers you see probably only had a week or two behind that camera,so there are a ton of mistakes and the in house editors have to make due. The "white out happens because of negligence. There are proper filters provided to prevent the issue.
I retouch my daughter’s pics but only for her glasses glare.
I love Jeannie😂😂
the only time we got touch ups for mine were my high school grad photos and a yearbook photo in grade 10 or 11 when I had lipstick on my teeth and no not even the photographer told me
When I finished elementary school we took picutures and they gave me a nose job, it really does mess with you specially if you're that young
