Can you make an updated video on Flash photography in clubs and night events?!?
Sir what is the title of the background song at 1:00
I have a question! In very low lighting how do you get your focus? I shoot at church on Wednesday’s and have trouble focusing on the low light. I bring my flash but I don’t know how to capture my focus before the flash. What do you do in little to not light situations like this?
It's a very helpful video in learning event photography.
Plz visit my photography article:

Nice video, still works until today. Keep up!
did you find any problems with 17-mm lens during low light surrounding?
Correct ino but i've been doing events for years and I switch lens every time throughout event and never missed a moment. Canon 430 sucks so bad, but i had a Neewer $30 speedlite for 8 years did tons of weddings and events and its been great. Dont knock the cheap stuff until you try. 14 year veteran photographer. Its not about the equipment mostly;y its about the talent.
what shout i do if dont have flash
Your title in a little misleading. Should have been more about event photography tips but it was more about gear. Good tho but misleading
This is so helpful for me. Speaking about challenges I am seeking to solve. Thank you.
Do you have a settings video?
Please please if u can, We wanted to know the aperture and the shutter speed as well for every picture, thanks, awesome pictures, keep it up
SUCH a great tutorial. I just moved to Texas and I'm getting asked to shoot Quinceaneras. I've shied away from doing them, because of the dance–in particular the Father Daughter dance. But this was EXTREMELY helpful. Thank you!!!
I dont care what you carried. I want to know tips on settings. Mediocre!
How do you shoot at an event where the ceiling is high and the walls are far?
How old are you in this video lol? I can’t stop noticing the braces
When you photograph with a holdfast do you put OFC on both cameras or just one?
What is the name of the lens you use again ?
It’s great you know so much about your gear, but not really helpful to be honest. Any videos on the technique/craft of wedding photography? As in how to make sure the photographer is getting the right shots, what to look for/look out for, adjusting settings for different settings throughout he wedding, etc…?
Hi great video ,can you tell me what you do if the ceiling is really high for bouncing the flash, thank you.
I do events photography mostly , normally night time and dark places , what would you do if you don’t have a white wall or a ceiling ? , most of the time it’s dark red , black or dark grey , it is more beautiful to bounce the light cause it gives much softer photos and equal distribution, but in my case I’m using a diffuser and shoot directly to the subject. And that’s killing my pictures having to fix the iso and speedlite power all the time , any ideas or suggestions please ?
Do you Gel your flashes

Thanks for this helpful video. I want to know, how you focus in moving subject?

Do you recommend a softbox on external flash for soft shadow on event photography?
hey, thanks for this great video, I have a event for a collegue that is leaving at the end of the week. They asked me to take pictures but I have never done any event photography, I do more landscape. Any advice on settings? I have a mkIII with 16-35 f4 and 70-200 f2.8. thanks you very much
the problem i encounter with two camera on both side of ur hips is more prone to bump when you are in tight space i always keep in mind to take care of my gear but when in run and gun shoot can never avoid getting your camera hit either people or things like chairs side of the table etch…my 6d canon & lens had a lot of hit good thing i put tempered glass for my 6d & uv filter for my lens they get hit first before my camera, sort of shield
I'm fairly new to photography and I was wondering what kind of settings on your camera do you usually use for this type of event?
