After the slab is loaded on the roller conveyor, a digital camera reproduces the image on the touch screen of the bridge saw’s computer. The operator, using the mouse, marks the defects and the perimeter of the slab where he places the pieces to be cut optimizing the surface available.
If equipped with the special optimization software, the bridge saw decides automatically, always optimizing the surface available, which pieces are to be cut.
