THE LABEL!!! – it wasn't straight once you did the symmetry pass but i did notice that you had sorted it by the end reveal. Great video 😉

I'm curious of how you did the merging at the 13:40 minute mark. You keep the light part of the image but discard the black. Is there a tutorial you can recommend on how you did this?

Quite honestly with so much detail I asked myself if you wanna retire after this by giving out so much info but for me this is one of the most informative and long videos I have had the time to go thru fully, weldone mate, you actually spoon fed us here!

Hello, thanks for this very great tutorial. But I thing, the important key of this Picture is this perfect Background Image. May I ask if the image is completely self-made it or a stock – photo? Sorry for my modest English… Greets from Switzerland…

Can you explain how masks are used in layers?

Side note : if your Camera has a Feature called PostFocus it takes an image and allows you to select the diffrent Focus like lable and neck yoi save seperate images…

(Many phones have this but it may be called different things like Selective Focus on Samsung s7 for example)

And in photoshop use what is called focus stacking

    The Adobe how to

And the youtube video i learned from

On the Plexiglass you can buff out scratches with glass Polish and cleaner

I used a Brand called ceriglass from cquartz.com out korea but i picked it up at an auto parts store.

I have tried Windshield scratch products and Headlight polishes so products for headlights do work including the Spray on glossy finished products

You can get cheal gloss Spray paint*
And just Coat the clean surface if its Extremely light scratches that works fine 😉 just make nice even coating of whole surface.

Ive used large People size peices and sometimes jewelery or shoes scratch it so i do know what i am talking about 😉

Why doesn’t the ambient light get in your test shot? How do you stop the ambient light from getting in?

Absolutely excellent video. Just FYI though, that studio strobe is $3300. Costs about as much as his lens + camera + tripod combined. Of course it really doesn't matter how expensive your equipment is but, rather, how you use it, but still… that's crazy. Just some food for thought.

I absolutely love this tutorial. My only issue is around the 14 minute mark when you enter PS, you didn't show how/when you made the bottle mask. Other than that, superb stuff!

Why would you want to compose a shot of the product that is entirely different from the actual physical feature of the product? The product on the post is glowing, but the actual product when you look at it with your own eyes does not have a glow or it's not even shiny. It will be a false advertisement.

I really enjoyed this video even though I'm not a product photographer , I feel I've watched a movie but got robbed from the final twist , care to make another video showing how the final image was accomplished with the sparks , fire , apples etc ? Any way I have a new respect for product photography!

    i want to taste it

Nice work! As others have said, back in the film days, one needed multiple strobes, various light mods, many test exposures, and several hours' time. Digital certainly shortens the "time' element, as well as adding a bit more precision into the process.
