Friday means mailtime! This week I have some awesome stuff to share with you including a reproduction I was sent of Camera Work – the magazine published by Alfred Steiglitz in the pictorialist photography era. It’s an incredible document of pictorialism and is a major part of the history of photography. That and, well – a poster of every Hasselblad ever made.

Thanks much, Ted. I really appreciate your channel and the way you connect all of us in the art and history of photography.
Ted, I usually watch your show via Apple TV and never leave comments. Just wanted to say I love your show and what you’re doing.
I’d love to hear hown you organize and store all of this material and all the pictures that you print. I just recently printed my first two pictures and hung them up on the wall but due to limited space I only want to hang my favorite pictures. How do you deal with this scenario? Let me know if you’d like more context
Thanks for the video. I'm a new viewer and really enjoyed it. This highlights just how superior b&w is to color (at least in my opinion).
There’s that knife again..lol u make me nervous lol
I have a big mess to clean up, so I'll see you in then next video. Until then Late——
i have fallen in love with this channel.
Another great video Mr. Forbes, you truly bring a lot of inspiration to many through your channel! Loved the Hasselblad poster as well as all the zines and books shared.
Ted it's an absolute pleasure to watch your fantastic videos.
Awesome to see Jeremy's book in there. I remember seeing a lot of his progress on instagram.
best part of the week, the Grand Opening of surprises! thanks for sharing! Prost!
Thanks a million Ted! I'm delighted you're enjoying the book.
i am a very very recent subscriber (yesterday 🙈 ). What a great person you are! A real pleasure to be in your company. And most of all, thank you for both opening and connecting the World!! amazing idea to show other people’s work
I like to get my father's Alaska images scanned but unfortunately the odds aren't in my favor
I need to have a massive poster of a Mamiya RB67. My favourite camera, my main workhorse camera I use today and for the days when I'm not using it, it's a lovely decoration on the mantelpiece
I want that poster !!
Oo I have that same knife
I would love to buy one of those hassy posters! Would be great framed on my wall.
Thank you for your kinds works on my Camera Work reproduction. I thought it would peak your interest knowing your love and knowledge of the history of photography.
All my best,
Pierre
Did you ever consider doing a piece on Dean Collins? I wonder what your take on him would be…thanks and love all your videos
Love these Friday mail time videos! Inspired by your videos, I recently printed some of my work for the first time, with mixed results, but still really awesome to see and hold a print and not just view them on a screen.
Ted, you are a borderline national treasure.
Always a good day when Ted uploads a mail time video.
I absolutely love the Friday mail videos , really cool to see people sending stuff from all over the world
I have that poster and… I have tried only two of them. A newer one I forgot, and the 500CM absolute legend. Brought it to London and shot some of my best work to date! Strike that! I tried a super-wide too. The winder was a bit wonky, but the pictures were great fun to take!
Showcase Fridays are so good that we need more Fridays per week… Wouldn't mind longer episodes. Perhaps some mini-interviews with the artists? Stay awesome Ted!
Love the Blad poster. Of all the camers I've owned and sold, I miss the CM the most, if only because of the sound it made! You guys who own a Blad will know what I'm talking about.
I'd like to see a bit more of those minimal prints of Matt. Do you have a link to It?
The images in Steve Meyler's "66 Hours" look splendid, thanks for publicising them!
You have a very nice style and you clearly care about your subject. Thank you.
Thanks so much Ted. Im so glad you enjoyed the book I made about my grandmother. Just made my day.
“Everybody’s got a story, and photographs tell that story”. That’s why we do this thing called photography – Very well said.
Suggestion: Background is a little dark. I'd like to see your studio. Lighten it up a little. Just a thought.
How’s it going! 🙏🏾
