As a commercial photographer in the past, it is extremely important to know what the agency is looking for and they will give you the requirements, such as color and "white space" used for logos, ads, and text that are extremely important to be placed accordingly. Will never forget one for a cover, where small boy was to run with balloons in a park, I needed white space in upper left, and green space in lower right. As you can imagine balloons did not want to cooperate, lol
Very helpful video, Thanks!

I started a few months ago with stock and I'm excited to improve my skills and to see how they will effect my earnings 🙂 Now I have a question to pose you… since I'm travel since s while and I'm on a Budget I cannot effort to pay for programs like Lightroom and Photoshop… are they any other free tools available that I could download? I have a question. Don't you need property releases if you take photos of famous buildings like eiffel tower and some iconic buildings? If you set it to editorial use then that means the potential will be reduced.
Also, how do you get model release from a baby?
Incredible video.
i subbed !!
is the audio out of sync?

Very good video. I've been in stock photography for a decade and a half and all of your suggestions are spot on. For most of that time I specialized in a few niche areas but have become bored with them and am trying to diversify. I'm doing more studio photography, tabletop, closeups, etc. A video devoted to getting good closeups for stock might be helpful. Thanks again for ALL of your videos!
Thanks for all your videos. I find them very useful. You're a natural teacher and speaker.
I'd like a video on which are the best stock photography agencies. Currently I upload to Shutterstock, iStock, Adobe Stock and Big Stock.
Grazie mille Vic, very interesting!
I love doing stock though I am not that successful at it. Thanks for this video its very interesting.
