A initially learned photography as a kid shooting black & white then developing the photos in a dark room, that was a magical time and sparked my interest in photography. As I got older I dabbled in digital photography but wasn't until my kids were born that i really started to get an active interest back in it all.

Listening to this now since I lost a girl I really loved.
i love ringo
How fortunate was Mr Ringo!!! Last minute into the BEATLES…. despite his individual success up to that point there are only 4 friggin humans on earth and history to be a BEATLE. They break up and who would of bet it would be George helping Ringo write this number 1 hit!!!???
Not a Beatles fan at all but I love this solo song here. Makes me think of Debra. Love you dear.
Great natural talent. You dont get that from the music teacher. Ringo was born with it.
Before the time John was gone…And Ringo cries for him a lot.
The lyrics, the melody, the structure and the voice 👍.
Ringo said that this song became about John.
I was seven when this came out and it was just a pretty song then; 45 years later, the words hit hard. I've lost a lot of friends since then, but I still have other friends & family…and I hope they all outlive me.
So true… But life goes on… Or you get stuck and then you're not living.
Lot of pain in this song…R.I.P. Dawn Lerner 11/20/2006
Every time I listen to this song I just cry because I lost my dad to bone cancer when I was four years old, both of my grandfathers in 2013 and my grandmother in 2015 and this song has meaning

Photograph" is a song by English musician Ringo Starr that was released as the lead single from his 1973 album Ringo. Starr co-wrote the song with George Harrison, his former bandmate from the Beatles. Although the two of them collaborated on other compositions, it is the only song officially credited to the pair. A signature tune for Starr as a solo artist, " Wikipedia "
Magnificent composition, by Starr & Harrison.

Happy Birthday Ringo 2018!
Happy Birthday to Ringo who turns 78 on Saturday.
Thanks, help me sort a project out!
it's that background music that triggers most of the emotion
This song was mine & my first love's song….so many years ago in high school. He was from another country & we knew we'd have to part. He left, I couldn't follow.
That parting honestly made it hard to breathe for years. And it also strengthened me to endure other partings of loved ones through the years.
I hope & pray the years have been kind to you, PJ-MR💗
Used to wake up to this song in the mornings in London in the late 70's
it changes, but it doesn't get better.
And it sounds even better with George singing the backing vocals, what a masterpiece!
Luv this song

On this day in 1973 {December 23rd} Ringo Starr's covered version of "You're Sixteen" moved into the #27 position on Billboard's Top 100 chart, and the record one position lower at #28 was "Photograph" by Ringo Starr…
Both records peaked at #1 on the Top 100; five weeks earlier on November 18th "Photograph" spent one week in the top spot, and four weeks later on January 20th, 1974 "You're Sixteen" would peak at #1 for one week…
Between 1970 and 1981 he had fourteen records on the Top 100 chart; half of them made the Top 10 with two reaching #1 {the above two}…
His seven Top 10 records charted consecutively; "It Don't Come Easy" {#4 in 1971}, "Back Off Boogaloo" {#9 in 1972}, then his two #1 records, " "Oh My My" {#5 in 1974}, "Only You" {#6 in 1975}, and finally "The No No Song" {#3 in 1975}…
Ringo Starr, born Richard Starkey, will celebrate his 78th birthday come next July 7th {2018}…
One of the very few former Beatle songs with jazz sax…nice!
Covered this when my grandma passed at her funeral a couple years ago this song reminds me of her and our great adventures together as a child
🧀🧀🧀
And Ringo actually leads with his left hand when drumming. He learned the drums that way. That was part of what gave The Beatles their distinctive sound
This is my favorite Ringo song.
