This 3D Printer Builds Full-Color Paper Models!
Traditional desktop 3D printers use melted plastic as their build material, but Mcor’s printers layer sheets of paper on top of each other to create their models. We check out the new Mcor Arke, a printer that cuts from a large spool of paper, glues those sheets together, and then prints color on them to turn digital files into large paper models!

MCor: Here's a $9000 3D printer that prints in paper! Now you can make creepy dolls!
Hi,
Is this available in Mumbai (India),and what is the price?
The paper and the roller system is from a 1978 dot matrix printer.
I think its punches the paper layer for layer than adding the glue or ink at the required spots
I'd prefer the tree
9k…great. everyone will experiment with it…not.
This is perfect.. and the price is right too for a machine that can do all this.
I wish he would explained more about the arm bar.
This a LOM ( laminated objective manufacturing )
, not a 3d printer.
I bet printing takes literal days…
technology LOL is called different color plastic line… and yes, ALL 3d printers can already do this.. just one color at a time..
so the only inovation is a multi line head for a 3d printer.
The Future Gentleman..The Future
he did alot of work to avoid saying "it's 9 thousand dollars"
Less talk, more show.
Dot matrix feed, lol
I can't stand norm, am i the only one?
I knew those old dot matrix printers were going to be reborn again.
what no demo! Maybe it doesn't really work the way he's telling you it works . Can anyone say Con artist lol
i read many many years ago where engine builders were using cut paper in layers to create plugs which they used to create sand moulds to cast aluminium engine blocks
Next will be the food replicators.
Looks like there is a lot of room for improvement in this technology
I just watched a 10 minute video of a guy trying to sell me an industrial printer…
He talks to much as to how pretty the printer looks and its futuristic lights, but hardly show nothing of what can print , apart one object that has been treated after printing, so in other words you are buying smoke, at 999 dollars, thanks but No thanks
So how many trees will it cost if everyone buys this?
Wow! That salesguy talks! ALOT!
