Drones are Soo cheap.. I'm a college student bruuh.
Thanks for the insight man. I did my first broll based travel video recently, and these tips would have helped!
Thank you
Hello Chris,
Great information and helpful!
What is your primary camera for capturing video?
Thanks!
You may also try 30fps – for instance the slider shot getting into the car – shoot that at 30fps and then slow down to 24 in your sequence – it will give it just a hint of drama but still look normal.
What a great Ideas, I love your videos so much, I wish one day I can make something like that.
Always been a big fan of your broll in your films! I make travel videos over on my channel if you want to check them out
NONE of this has ANY correlation to 120fps. These are just shot types 101, all of which (except timelapse maybe) can be shot at any frame rate.
I'm BAFFLED. This is lunacy.
Great video Chris, I use 30fps and 24fps. It's been working good!
How about you change that Sam Kolder cliche font at the beginning and then maybe people can watch you sonu r just not another typical "creative filmmaker"
Your definition of rack focusing is not what I expected.
Need Broll Ideas for YEARSSS
Excellent tutorial. Thanks
Stop palm striking your camera, please! What has it ever done to you? Lots of good things I expect.
very good suggestions, I got a few nice ideas for filming looking at this
1) Shoot different frame rates 0:47
2) Rack Focusing 1:14
3) Locked off/tripod 1:44
4) Handheld/ Shaky (Best type of shot) 2:03
5) Time-lapse/ Hyper-lapse 2:33
6) Variety of framing 2:46
7) Mount your camera 3:20
8) Drone/ Aerial 3:36
9) Stabilizer 4:13
10) POV shots 4:30
11) Slider/ Tracking 4:58
Edited: Woah! Thanks for the likes guys!
Shooting and working a subject is smart for not just shooting video but shooting photos.
I’m looking at getting a drone but in some places they are getting strict about how and where they can be used. But many places have workshops from weekend long to stuff over 8-12 weeks, where you can learn a lot from experts.
Thanks – great video, advice, cinematography. And I LOVE that you did this in 6:29 rather than bloating it out past 10 mins for the extra YouTube $. Consider me subscribed!
Chris – I loved the cuts that you did and especially how you punched your hand and moved the camera!! Please check out my vlog and let me know what you think!!!
Thank you for inspiring me to create better shots
Thanks for this video Chris🙏
Number of camera angles during vlogging 😮
Good idea putting her beautiful face in the midde of the video. Didn't hear a word you said after that.
