Faces you may see:
Corey: Corey has moved from secondary to lead giraffe keeper. With 3 years of giraffe care experience underneath him, and many more to come – he is excited and ambitious about changes on the way and of course a new calf!
Kyle & Lucas: Kyle an experienced African hoof stock keeper, and Lucas a lead keeper team member (carnivore based) – will also be present on the cam as secondary keepers to our giraffes.
Joel, Colton & Alexis: As our team continues to grow, expect to see new team members alongside the familiar faces!
Joel has been with us for 3 years, serving as our primates and bear keeper at the facility. Joel has 13 years prior experience at a well known zoological park! Joel is chipping in and will be assisting with evening checks. Colton comes to us with prior experience from (2) facilities in Florida, and Alexis comes to us from a large facility in Pennsylvania. We are excited to welcome them to our crew, and introduce them to you!
Dr. Tim: Dr. Tim continues to provide top notch guidance and care for our giraffe family!
Jordan: The park owner, will continue to be on and off camera and the face of many updates and announcements as we follow the second giraffe pregnancy of the facility.

But we can't see them close-up outside! And part of what the education process is, is discovering what you need to do for them!!! That's totally unfair to those of us who have never said an unkind word about their treatment! I, for example, wanted to see exactly what one does to help a gassy giraffe! We who have lovingly supported you have helped put you and giraffes in the limelight! If we only see the outside, for example, we never would have seen that wonderful closeness of Azizi lying with April. And I, for one, am disabled and will never be able to get there. So you will be taking away all of my joy at being able to see the giraffes! I know that, because you are a for-profit, you want to protect yourselves from criticism, but this is clearly NOT the way to do it! PLEASE reconsider your decision! Please don't destroy all the good will that you have built up, for AAP and for giraffes!!!

Ohhhh WOW. Praying that April is feeling better this morning and ALSO that everyone is safe. Please let us know ASAP how April is and YOU guys as well. We ALL love you! Thank you for ALL that you do.

Hope April is feeling better. I'm sure everyone is doing everything they can, from what I have seen they are wonderful people. I would love to visit the park but it's a long way from Australia. Stay safe all.

Awwww, I hope all is well with April!! We had storms here in PA on & off this evening….and they were more north of usi(I’m in the Johnstown area)….hopefully they didn’t get hit hard at the park! <3

So very sorry to hear April is not feeling well. I know that Jordan and everyone at AAP is doing everything they can to help April through this. April has such a wonderful home at AAP, and she is loved by all. I hope and pray AAP will not be in the path of the storm, and all staff and animals will be safe. Thank you Jordan, very much, for taking the time to let us know what is going on. You are truly a remarkable person, and your family, staff, and all of the animals are very fortunate to have you in their lives. God bless you all, stay safe through the storm. Jordan came on chat at 5:45 PM EST on Tuesday May 28, 2019. Here is what he said:
PER JORDAN: We are on site for the storms.
PER JORDAN: We have a very gassy April. She’s getting treatment for it. We do everything we can!
PER JORDAN: We will be turning off cam and chat for the evening. April is quite gassy and uncomfortable. Same thing happened a few months ago. We will monitor through the evening and keep everyone posted.
PER JORDAN: We cannot allow the rumors and craziness to fly around.
Saw Oliver in his pen, looked like April was laying down outside by big double gates, baby was going in and out. Had to go to store, so didn't see April. Hope all is well.
