This could a be a super rookie question but when you run your rode ntg through the juicelink preamp, is the sound syncing to the video automatically when it's connected to the camera?

I love watching these videos, I think I've settled on taking a gopro (with wrist mount and a gopole) and a canon G7X for stills and videos 🙂 I'm not sure if I want to focus more on photos or videos though! I feel like videos capture memories better but I love filling up photo albums to flick through, so torn

All you need is: DSLR, 2 lenses (Canon 24-70 2.8 and Tokina 11-16 2.8), Zoom H1, Gopro if necessary (or other brands of equipment of similar nature).
Not necessary to have so many lights and flashes, and xlr microphones…. Harsh lighting doesn't look great anyway! Natural light is much better. And theres no point in taking a photo or video if everything is super dark!
Travel=light, I wouldn't even use that much equipment in the studio 😛
