Learning Landscape Photography
I make resolutions every year. Not at New Years but rather on my Birthday. This year my resolution was to get better at landscape photography.
Here is my main tip on the subject. Get up early and get your butt out the door and take some shots. Everything else is secondary!
Enjoy!

Another good one!
Learning never ends does it, nor should it! Looking forward to more my friend!
There's no shortage of beautiful sights up in Thunder bay area. I visited it mid summer and was astonished of the rugged beauty !
I had to grab my wife and show her this…I swear…I've gone through this scenario many times, my friend. The anticipation of getting some good shots with great morning or afternoon light, the drive to the location (no matter how far away or secluded), the setup (trekking to a perfect vantage point, tripod setup, etc), and the tinkering that goes into the actual taking pictures. And most of the time the light isn't as good as it appeared from far away, or the wind and cold are so bad that it's physically impossible to not only keep the camera steady, but to maintain your own body temperature. The only difference between your routine and mine is that I drive a tiny Chevy Spark rather than a full-sized pick up truck!
