So who is thinking of getting one of these?! Anyone have one already?
Excellent work really inspiring
Just one "minor" caveat to mention: the TTL does not work properly on Sony 😉
Have you had fault with the bare bulb head as I’ve heard they are faulty/can break?
Hey mate… that umberalla style soft box….. is that a Godox? I use shoot through umberallas but they are SO prone to getting blown over by wind
I'm just curious. Amazing wedding photos. So sharp! The flash catches a lot of floating dust in some of those photos. Is this something you have ever tried editing or is it a choice you have made to just leave it?
I have a set of two of these and the dual plate that allows them to become a 400w flash. best money I have ever spent in lighting. Its amazing, flexible and lightweight. The round head is fantastic. The #1 accessory for the flash IMO.
I bought Godox ad200.I had always seen it on you tube and thought it to be good but when it came into my hands
I realised it was really a crap.Very cheap quality, my money was totally wasted. I really condemn such people
Who mislead others to buy such rubbish.
I have 3 of these now! Plus extension cables/round heads etc. Great kit. Does just about everything! Sold some mains strobes, don't need pocket wizards or quantum battery packs anymore 🙁 Even sold Nikon SU800 commander unit.
I have been using bare bulb with reflector on extension lead with AD200 pack on a quick release clip attached to a small Manfrotto stand. Very portable and the weight of the battery pack balances everything nicely.
Tomorrow night I need power! and standard Nikon flash is not powerful enough so I will be using bare bulb and reflector on the top of a X1 on my cameras hotshot with battery pack in holder on my belt. X1 will trigger AD200 that will trigger bulb 🙂 ie X1 on camera to trigger as extension has no electronics.
Nice ! Do you always shoot them on manual or do you ever use TTL mode? And can we have a review of the round head please?
Excellent video Matt.
Hy! What godox bag is that in the right corner? Thank you!!
Beautiful shot at 4:37 Can you please tell me if that is backlit only.
Having to disable the EFCS when shooting high speed sync (to prevent banding) is a major negative. You end up with a noticeable shutter lag.
I use 2 of them.
excellent
just bought mine waiting for delivery
Eye-catching images & thank you …
Nice video, and good compositions and shots. It may be the youtube upload, but they all look a little underexposed? Well done anyway.
I bought 2 and the double AD200 adapter, as well as the extension cables to keep the power packs low on the stands and a couple of protective vinyl cases to keep from scratches. I also use 2 x Godox TT685's and 2 x Godox PB960's which give you 1800 full power pops per charge as well as a Godox AD600 TTL. I find that since getting the AD200's I am less inclined to bring the AD600, which is quite heavy unless I am doing an interior prod. I also really love the TT685s with the power packs. Super fast recycling time. Actually faster than the AD200's. Get these cases to protect them from falls. https://www.amazon.fr/gp/product/B07L5DDBJ6/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o09_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 Extension cables: https://www.amazon.fr/gp/product/B07DGTV5DV/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o08_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
For the AD600 I use this to keep the center of gravity low: https://www.amazon.fr/Godox-AD-H600B-Manuelle-Extensible-Extérieur/dp/B01FM4G8W2/ref=sr_1_2?__mk_fr_FR=ÅMÅŽÕÑ&keywords=tete+flash+ad600&qid=1552865334&s=electronics&sr=1-2
You'll love the round head… 🙂
