Such a beautiful look! Especially for a wedding. It is deceptively simple, and as you say, it doesn't date. How wonderful that you had a McQueen weddiing dress – I don't think you should change it! It is a bit weird having a beautiful dress and not being able to wear it in other situations, but there is something so romantic and poetic about keeping it just as it is, like a treasured memory, stashed away in a secret place! You remind me of Natalie Portman here!

Love this wedding makeup and much prefer it to the shimmer on the lids with a defined crease look, which seems so common for brides. The warm tones are also a lovely deviation. I notice that I like frosty eyeshadow less and less as I get older. It's not that I can't pull it off, but because it looks so, I don't know, dated and harsh in a way.

I'm starting to plan for my own wedding makeup, and I decided to take Lisa's advices!
She uploaded wedding makeup tips video years ago, where she says that concealer should not reflect the light, otherwise you'd have that 'panda' look under the eyes on the pictures. But right here she uses the Clinique concealer, right under the eye, which seems to be very illuminating (correct me if I'm wrong).
The concealer I usually use is the Yves Saint Laurent concealer (the stick one). I have no idea whether I should use it, or buy another one (like the Make Up For Ever Ultra HD concealer).
Does anyone know more about this?

Hi Lisa, if I can make one more video request. Can you make one where you explain how to combine colours from eyeshadow palettes or separately sold eyeshadows? I have several palettes such as Urban Decay Naked 2 and Smoky, In the Balm of Your Hand Vol 1, MAC Macnificent Me, and a few separate shadows but I never really know how to combine different colours into one eye look, e.g. which colour to apply where on the lid, which colours go together etc. As a result, all of my palettes are almost unused and I end up sticking to eyeshadow quads which are all pre-planned in their application, if you know what I mean. Such a tutorial would be massively helpful!

It is an angelic fresh look and suits you so well. I did my wedding make up myself too since i was all alone in a new land and didn't know any make up artist i could fully trust, at the same time i thought it would be a waste of money when i can totally do it by myself, i wanted to keep everything simple so as my wedding dress, i probably would be able to wear it again and again in different occasions…
