How can be this photos boring? Such interesting bike concepts and technologies. I'm just don't see any issues this to be shot with m4/3 gear.

The 860II simply ROCKS! Such a great combo with the Panny S. Love the super fast recycle well under 2 seconds and last over 600 shots each charge. NO more AA's for me thanks

Thanks for the great review! I also have the this flash and love it! I chose the Godox TT685o mainly because I was worried about replacing the rechargeable battery in the future and not being able to find one. The only real difference I could find between the two was that the V860 has a little faster recycle time because of the battery, however if you use a good battery like the Panasonic eneloop batteries it really improves the recycle time of the TT685o. This flash is amazing for the price and I love the fact that I can use it on all my Panasonic cameras including my S1.

I have the Fuji version of the V860. It’s a good flash. My unit wobbles a bit on the hot shoe, which is a little disconcerting but doesn’t seems to affect it much overall though. Apart from that, it does the job very well!

I bought three of these with a trigger to use with Olympus m4/3. Very good for the price and very versatile off camera. The one flaw I have found is that the zoom ‘protocol’ between the camera and flashes is skewed. If I set my zoom lens to 12mm then the flash zooms to 17mm. If I zoom to 17mm the flash goes to 25mm. If I zoom to 25mm the flash goes to 35mm etc. I have tried this with a wide variety and combination of both Olympus and Panasonic lenses and bodies. Others have found the same. It’s an annoying fly in the ointment. When you’re aware of it and study your shots you’ll notice the dark corners in your shot. You can correct this only by manually zooming the flash to the appropriate focal length. It makes the flashes unusable for me ‘on camera’ for shooting weddings. I’ve tried contacting Godox about it but their customer service is non existant. How does that work out on the full frame?

    Your images are very good.

Your images have great balanced exposure. Did you use the flash on or off camera?

How's the S1R if you re taking a long exposure photo?

Good stuff man – I have the AA battery version, and im superhappy with it 🙂 One thing, and I dont mean to come across as rude, but you have a lot of echo in your vids. Can easily be fixed with hanging stuff on the walls. Keep creating 🙂
