Dom you are amazing.
HELP. Dom this does not work for me at all. I use the same setting you do and am perplexed.
where do you get that small beauty dish from ?
Great concise video. Thank you.
Hey great shots. My question is when I take pictures with my speed lite in the smellier manner they are very harsh in lights how to create more softness?
She is so hot! do more with her
Oh yes yes, let's see you doing her in her bedroom. Booyah!
Is there any way to know what beauty dish is that?
i tried the same settup and my model ended up so blown out io was unreal..i had to turn my power setting down to 1/64 power ..can you explain why it didnt work when i set the settings u used…the only thing i changed was the iso to 100..u mentioned you used an omni bounce in the beuty dish ..is this true? i coundnt put n omni bounce through attached to the flasht through the beauty dish if i wanted too..please help..only thing that really made a diiferance was if i feathered thre light..not pointing the beauty dish straight at her
Having the same type beautydish, I was wondering if you have found one that works better? Cause I find it to be better then bare flah, but fare worse then a studio beautydish. Tried one at a pro studio once and it was pure magic compared to this one.
Thanks for sharing. This was very helpful.
Nice tutorial keep them coming.
P.S Love the t-shirt.
I just had an "I love the internet!" moment. This is just what I needed to see. Thanks so much!
The tamron 28-75mm lens will work find on that camera. its a great lens for a low price, highly advised.
had it set to commander mode so it does not affect the image at all. read up on nikon CLS for more details regarding that
I have nikon d 5100, is that lens gonna work with it? or because its not full frame camera its gonna be like 100mm on my camera? thanks
I know you can't show someone photos without their OK, but if you have not see this one, check it out. She is a non pro in the US with a population of 400 in her town. Regina Pagles will get you to regina pagles photography
you didnt mention what power you have your on camera flash at! I assume its set really low
just from some guy in a carpark in edinburgh.
check my blog, (samyang 85mm review) even took a photo of him and put him on the blog.
were doing it in the bedroom 🙂
another good video,is f8 a shallow depth of field though? how do you trigger your flash? i cant afford pocket wizards, what one are you using,is it expensive?thanks for the vid by the way
Love what you do bro! Simple and right to the point! Thanks!
yes, either is good, the umbrella will send more light all over the place so may be more difficult to control that you dont get any spill light on the background.
I see you are doing two light setup. If I only have one light, would you suggest me using a beauty dish or an umbrella?
nice vid I need to renew my passport and like to have a good photo I have a canon T1i but not sure about the settings etc. I know how to align it for passport requirement but dont know how to take a good shot of my head. It will be greatly appreciated Thank you in advance.
