What kind of speedlights did you use?
I just bought a fish tank and I do macro photograhy videos:D Thank you for the inspriration:D
A cable release woud make your shooting easier. Karch always used a cable release.

Thank you very much .. I need your help: how to freeze a "very clear real rain droplets" fall in outdoor
адская параша получилась!
Not one of your best videos, the shots were not that eye catching. The ones using the cameras own flash were really bad IMHO.
Wonder what's Kelsea doing these days.
Excellent demonstration
I got the intention of the video showing different ideas, and how they were made, but I agree with some comments below, the quality of the photos are not really nice, or at least not good enough to represent Adorama… And yes, I can't find the sense using 1/1200th, you have to use more power on the flash and that means more flash duration, wich is not ideal to freeze the scene. Again good video for take new ideas.

How to click aquarium fish any tips for aquarium fish photography??
GOOD
good job, Mark! i like it very much
Mark, thanks for the tutorial. I used it as a basis for my multi flash photographs. I've uploaded then to the Adorama group on Flickr.
I would be interested in seeing you do a multi flash episode, just to see what tips and tricks you have.
Why did you swt FP mode HSS if your speedlights have much faster flash duration speed without it. Set them to 1/16 power and cameea say 1/160s and you will nicely freeze the action.
Great job Mark
thanks for the presentations very educational
Another BIG tip is to use RODI or Distilled water. It makes a BIG difference in clarity. Yet another one that will give you even better shots is to use Starphire (low iron) glass aquarium. It is more expensive, but things look crystal clear & as if they are floating in the air.
Check out my fish photography:

That was awesome!!!
What are the settings of photography water drops?
keren. menginspirasikan ane nih hahha
Oh, I was wondering if these photos … thanks to know
Maybe it's just me, but some of these images seem over exposed.
Very cool!! You're an awesome photographer..
Is it just me ??? I found out the pictures a bit low quality. Not sure why did you set for Hss I would rather set them for 1/8 power and the final flash duration is much faster and you can froze the motion. Your pictures are very blurry !
thanks sir 😀
awesome , creative
Thats the easier way: the less power the flashes are switched to, the shorter the light comes out. 1/20000 is possible! And even with a shutterspeed of a full second, the motion would be frozen.
u'r chanel is amazeing! 😀 very usefull 😉
Hi Internet! You like cute things and photography! Check out this blog to see photography you can perform without leaving your desk!

THANK YOU! 🙂
Wow!
how do you get the d7000 to high speed sync of 1200?
you should never shoot through the side of an aquarium at an angle like that. it creates all sorts of aberrations. the front of the lens should be kept parallel to the glass. if you want to shoot up towards the surface of the water. tilt the aquarium forward.
Great video… really informative.
Any chance you can drop some brown babies into that water??
Can we just turn off all lighting in studio, and freeze motion with flash only, using slower shutter speeds?
If the flash fires at full rate how come it didn't blow everything out?
@ErnieCosmo LOL Nikon D7000, Macro lens, tripod, 3 x speed lights, Soft box, 3 x stands, fish tank and stand, an assistant. I would guess at £3000 🙂
Pretty cool, Mark!
Amazing 😀
awesome
thanx for your explanation . is that possible to make an episode on red eye function how to avoid and how to setup in camera setting………….
For fun, try a dark or even black background and instead of food coloring drip whole milk into the water. It gives some pretty spooky looking photos.
