Converting Portrait Video to Landscape in Adobe Premier Pro

13 23

Do your videos have vertical video syndrome? Tired of those black bars to either side of your video? Well you could zoom in, but you lose a lot of video quality. With this method you fill in the black bars with something that actually compliments the video and in someway fools your eyes into thinking this is the full landscape view.

great video if you have many clips it's easier to put them together first then copy all of them two more times ,then apply the effect, also is better if you scale up the sides so you do not lose part of the clear image.

    Seriously, why bother?

You're replacing a black border by something that actually provides no extra information to the viewer and is in my opinion distracting.

If its shot in landscape, show it in landscape. If its shot in portrait then show it in portrait.

i am trying to move my video clip over to the left and the write. I select the clip but only the image moves and the border of the video stays and cuts out the image. Is there anything I need to do to beforehand to to select the whole clip and move it over?
