Spotify has created not only a fantastic music streaming service but they have also carved out for themselves a pretty distinct style of design in their album and playlist covers.
Popularized by their “Duotone Effect”(which we will be doing in a later video) Spotify has done a great job at standing out and creating a consistent style across the board.
Whether you are using a different program than Affinity Photo (perhaps something like photoshop) it doesn’t matter because the methods are the same to create Spotify album art.

Ok, So I am Trying to get the Spotify Logo in, But no matter which google .png photo i find i still get the gray and white square backgrounds, any fixes?
You think I could do this in Gimp?
how would you go about exporting said cover art.do we keep the original settings or is there somethings that need to be tweaked?

Ok so when you listen to a song on YouTube there is usually a image on the screen with the album photo and the song, artist, and album listed next to it and a blown up blurred version of the album cover in the background… How do you make one of those
Didn't explain anything.
Please do some challenge where you listen to a typical genre and try to create a fake album art that will go with the music. I feel that this will help you to be creative and learn more about your tool. Thank you Jesse!

Correct font is: Circular
I guess I should have purchased Affinity Photo Instead of Affinity Designer. Unless you can direct me to a video creating Album Covers using Affinity Designer?
