Hi Ian, of course I accept your apology. As a follower of Jesus Christ there is nothing but love here. I hope that we can think about all of the viewers especially the young ones who turn to media outlets to learn and to be inspired. One day we will all have to stand before a Holy GOD and give an account for every idle word. Fortunately there is good news. Jesus will forgive us of our idle words if we repent and place our faith and trust in HIM. The HOLY ONE.

I was so enjoying your channel up until you scrolled the expletive in connection with the holy. I don't get the usage of such language when it adds nothing to the video and offends some.

Ian, I stumbled across your video because I just purchased a Mindshift 26L camera backpack (replacing a Manfrotto that just didn't do the job for me) and was curious to see how others have used the backpack. Your 'what's in my bag' review was great, but I was most delighted to see another serious photographer who shoots Pentax gear! It seems we are few and far between. My primary is a K-3 with a K-70 as my backup. Love the cameras, their performance and capabilities. I converted from Nikon many years ago and have never regretted it. So, here's my question: how has your experience been with the K-1? I'm strongly considering taking the leap from crop sensor to full frame, and just wondering if it's worth it. Thanks in advance for any thoughts and info you care to share. Also, there have been many rumors lately about the impending demise of Ricoh/Pentax. Any thoughts?

I too have the Tamron 70-200 Di VC f2.8 A009N, but after watching your Olympic NP video on Hurricane Ridge (?), those were some beautiful detailed photos of the deer and mountains, Mine is not near that good (the velvet on the antlers were sharp), so I am going to get the G2 version. We roll the dice when we purchase our lenses, I waited too late for warranty repair and really didn't know what a good version of it would do.

Just came about your channel Ian. Great to come across another Aussie photographer, subbed. Always good to see what others have in their camera bags.

Nice, but what an awful sound!

Thanks for the useful tips! The advice about the plastic bags is great. Planning an OS trip so definitely one to remember.

Just curious why you chose the nisi filter holder over the lee filter holder? I'm looking at buying ND + polarising filters to start landscape photography

    like the rubber band tip

  11. Anthony Kernich says

that elastic band thing on the batteries is genius – why didn't I think of that earlier?

I have the same bag and a Sirui ball head, quality gear!

Lover Australia and your vids Ian. What do you do outside of photography for work? As a student, I feel like it's better as a hobby rather than as a career for income.

  14. Andy Keeble says

Great set up Ian, thanks for posting the video mate.👌

  15. Sheila F. says

This camera bag looks really heavy. There is so much stuff in it. I think I couldn't carry it.

    Interesting!
