Thank you for a great tutorial.
Wonderful guide! I have to ask, how comfortable are you having your XT-2 or XT-3 out in the pouring rain? I know it's weather sealed but I still get a little iffy when it's really coming down and I'm way out on a long hike.
Great tips.
Brilliant…Just signed up to these tutorials. One quick question you go out in awful weather how do you protect your lens and equipment? Sorry to ask but just starting out.
Who still shoots on Film
Perfect work . Every video helps me to improve. But try not to repeat so much the word "really ".
Excellent.
Hello Nigel. If you have the time can you describe the composition of the photo showed at 14:50? Thank you!
Nice to find a PhD that likes photography! During my PhD, I did research on nano thin films, too. Now I want to learn photography. I will follow this channel!
I’m glad I found you! Your tutorials are spot on. Now to achieve a remotely, compared to you, success. 😊
Astro photographer here. Light is the work of satan!
Thank you for this 💯
Hi Nigel,
The video is interesting and has a lot of great shots – but most of the advises and ideas are helpful in YOUR weather. In my area (Israel) where mist/fog/rain are not the usual weather, and where we have 300 sunny days a year, you miss out 🙂
Even further, for us traveling with families during daytime, we need to have better ideas on photographing in REALLY harsh conditions of high, strong sun and skies that usually become pale blue or even white…
Any chance on getting such a video?
Thanks,
Oren
Video starts here 2:34 I got bored though that 🙄
You just got 1000x cooler when I learned you studied physics. Your content is great. Thanks for all the videos!
Thank you Nigel, this was very well explained! Super good examples, especially because you also had the "boring" shots to compare with!! 😁👍👍👍
I just discovered you Nigel as I've just learned how to take my 10 yr old Canon off Auto mode. I've purchased a couple lenses and learning how to use them, a new camera body is my next purchase. Your vids are extremely helpful and easy to follow, I have a few more to watch! Thank you!
I enjoyed all of this but my favorite part was the two thumbs up in the boot, lol.
I love your videos, Nigel. A p.h.d.??? That's impressive. So happy that you switched gears and turned to photography. Cheers!
Was your A.R. coat for solar panels something akin to what is on the TrueLife Acrylic for facemounts?
Great video as usual, Nigel. You cannot imagine how much inspirations you've been pouring into the photographic community worldwide with your great contents. Can never thank you enough.
thank you
Really great, informative video thanks. Any tips on metering? Was interested in how you managed to shoot in to the sun so successfully
Great video, I take more to your videos. Thank!sir.
One of the best vídeo about light in landscape I saw . Thank you Andy
nice video
Commented on a view before and what I said still applies. Your videos are limited by relatability to normal surroundings of majority of viewers. Begins to appear as a highlight reel to humble brag the whole time and just urked me lol
Beautiful work! But how do you scout the scene ? You go to the places twice ?
Great shot of Pebbles!
Your third point is COLLAR! 😉
THis was so helpful. You're such a great teacher. I will be watching your other videos.
I really enjoy my 35 f2
Always genuinely informative. Great advice from a wonderful photographer.
PhD in physics! This makes sense re the quality of the analysis I find here. Nice!
Another excellent discussion, Nigel. Thanks.
You sir are a great teacher.
