    This video is so good.

I think lighting is one of those things that can be kind of eluding, even to people with experience.

Please please please make more videos about lighting 👌

  14. Michal Sas Tymowski says

Your video tells and teach nothing. You tricked us to watch it by showing some geometry suggesting some clever approach. What you show is to use flash light to fill the shadow nothing else this is basic not some clever thinking of light in different way… Please give back 4 minutes of my life you took away…

  15. Pamela Galloway says

Soooo, a big light source at a short distance is gonna be a soft light, and a big light source at a long distance is gonna be a hard light???
So what happens with the small light sources?

Struggled to hear you over that background music

  21. jl sc says

Nice start, but I always like to stress the relationship between artificial light with the aperture and natural light with the shutter speed, and iso with everything.

  22. Wanjira Gateri says

Great!! Would love to see the original images. Maybe color grade the video and not the images . Thanks

  23. William McAlpine says

  24. Joseph Solorio says

Are the typos a deliberate Easter egg?

  25. Justme Notu says

The Diamond concept is Bullshit. When incorporating Flash to your Photography, you are using 2 Exposure triangles that are connected Only at the Aperture. The first is the Ambient Triangle, which is the ISO – Shutter Speed – Aperture. Then there is the Flash Triangle, that being Flash Power – Flash to subject Distance – Then the Aperture, which you have set in the Ambient triangle. There is a third triangle, although not effecting exposure as the first 2, it also connects to the Aperture. This is the DOF triangle, which is made up by the Camera to subject distance – Lens Length, aka the zoom if you will – and again the Aperture you have selected for the 2 exposure triangles. If you draw it out, it resembles a Radiation symbol. The only connection common to the Three triangles is the Aperture, making it the most powerful adjustment on your Camera. Some will argue that the ISO is, but is only effecting the Exposure triangles by making the Sensor more or less sensitive.
