Hmm, I don’t understand your use case. The purpose of this light is to have quick and portable access to soft light. If you are going to setup a modifier in between this light and the subject, you would be far better served by having a more powerful light than this one.

Loved this video thank you. I’ve just started to get into photography I’m a master chef by trade but I also collect edc gear ( every day carry ) such as pocket knives, Swiss Army knives , pens etc. List goes on. I started my Instagram page last January I only use an iPhone XS Max right now wanting to get my first dslr this year. Your videos are amazing I’ve watched like 20 back to back. They are helping me out a bunch. As I use odd bits of food and treats in my edc shots. But I definitely need to up my game. Clearly I suck right now. But videos like this help me out a bunch. I really enjoyed your production value you do a great job period of one question now when you're showing the light and then it be put the diffuser in front of it at that point couldn't any light have been used without division panel of the same result? Because at that point the diffusion panels really become the light source, or am I thinking about that incorrectly?

Great video. And yes please make a video using an iPhone camera. I recently saw an amazing YouTube video comparing an a movie created with an iPhone 7 vs a low budget $50,000 cinematic video camera…and the result was stunning. Wondering how close you can get to the results produced with an iPhone vs a high end camera. If you haven't seen the video. Here's link. I still have not understood what the difference is between making sure the scene is well lit and using a very low shutter speed while the scene is rather dark making shadows softer. Provided of course the scene has only still objects. Why do I need such a strong light source?

Hello, if you see this comment, i'd like to help you boost up the # of views.
Suggestions
1. make less than 5 mins videos and longer versions separetly for those who are interested to explore more.
2. Neat title is important such as "lens for food photography" in one of your videos.
3. Dynamic topics allow to expose yourself. Beginers are likely to watch videos to learn compare to professionals learn at school.
4. Make tutorials for simple stuff that does not require any gear. Most viewers on Youtube does not have a studio or have money to spend on purchasing.
5. Make fancy videos like this one as a showcase. It shows quickly in a minute to grab people's attention. Like a advertisement for yourself. If viewers want to know how it was done, another tutorial can be made. I believe you are busy and does not have that much time to make fancy videos.

Great video and information. The light is nice but I think it is expensive for what it is. There are many options at that price point or below. Is there something that particular light will do that others won't? Is the round shape a benefit?
