Hi Diana love what you did with the space. I'm in the process of turning our garage into a makeshift photo studio. We will still park our cars in it but of course, the cars would be removed for shooting. The length of our garage is pretty long because it's for tandem parking. But our ceiling isn't very high, maybe ten feet tall? Your ceiling isn't too high. Any issues shooting tall models standing up?

Hi, Diana! I have the Westcott eye lighter too. What’s that acrylic stand behind it? Is that how you mount it? If it is can you send me a link please? It looks interesting! Thanks 😎👌🏻

I am in the beginning stages of building my studio in an office building we own. Currently it has wood floors and white walls. If you could build your perfect studio from scratch, what kind of paint would you choose for walls/ceiling? Keep it light for bounce? What floors?

Gray it’s a the best for special effects, and is a neutral color even we can’t see it with our eyes , try sometime, I am from the film generation.

  17. Luis Salazar says

Thanks, I thought I was the only one who had this idea, why white and not gray?

  18. Jo's Tiny Treats says

What lights do you use in your studio?

Nice job, Diane! I took the same approach and built a 14' x 24' shed that I've converted into a studio. I like your IKEA shelf unit. I'm going to look into getting one. Keep up the good work.
