A initially learned photography as a kid shooting black & white then developing the photos in a dark room, that was a magical time and sparked my interest in photography. As I got older I dabbled in digital photography but wasn't until my kids were born that i really started to get an active interest back in it all.
I don't want my husband to see me in my dress at all prior to the wedding! I want our first time to be at the wedding. We can take professional photos during the reception or something. I never understood this, like where is the surprise lol But to each his own.
I appreciate him for making this clip but my first impressions is that he seems a bit arrogant and a bit cold with this communication but of course that is just an opinion from this very short clip
I don't understand the negativity this guy is getting. I think the photos look great. His attitude wasn't bad at all. When you're posing people you have to be specific and he wasn't being rude at all. The pictures look great in the end.
For me, this is OK, who we are to judge, he is doing good and running his business successfully. He is vocal and trying to educate us also. Again, personalities are individual to each one.

He makes a comment during the video to the couple, "when you guys get married, don't do this to the photographer" so this is evidently only a training video, even if he wants the pictures to be perfect, it is a training video after all, which wouldn't be of much use if he just told them to sit and stand and pose any old way!
WAY to orchestrated to the point of stripping away all of the spontaneity of any given real moment. Not saying anything bad against this style but it just seems….sterile; kind of like creating a still life from clay. But hey, I'm no "master" so what do I know.
I'm laughing at some of you comments that a few of you ignorant people are making. We are all different in style, and that's a good thing. However, one very big difference is that you have accomplished nothing compared to him, and another is that he is NOT watching your training video! Tou·ché! Lol!

Oh my!! they tried to pose me at my wedding and that did not last long. Just shoot the pictures.
