love this video i always come back to it when i need to know the best settings to use when i am going out on an event shoot
This may be an odd question, but how do you fokus? Af is hard in such dark Situations, ans manuel is not very fast…
Vaya mierda de música…Que ponen el Dj. Creà que la basura del Reagaton solo nos afectaba a España…
You've got a big crowd and awesome lighting, and you pose people in front of a dank wall, or with your SS so high you're just fekkin up the BG and Flash Raping them. Really captured the mood. Fresh idea, way to mix things up! 😂🤣😂 Oh and a Photographer swearing and getting pissed off cos people want more photos? Really? Get pissed off when NOBODY wants them chief, way worse, people being super keen keeps you employed!
I personally use the following settings:
f/3.2-3.5 depending on group size, 1/40 or 1/50s, ISO 5000 or 6400 with a Canon 430EXII and gary fong at around 1/16th power, angled slightly backwards. This way I get ready vivid images with lots of ambient light, sharp because I haven't dragged the shutter too much and not too shallow a depth of field so everyones eyes are in focus. It's a pet peeve of mine of club photographers who only have one person in focus in a group shot! I change settings depending on venue though (ceiling height and colour plays a massive part). Oh and I also use rear curtain sync on the flash.
Anyone know how he got the red dots to fire onto the subject to focus
I've just bought your presets and the download link doesn't even work. Just downloads a JPEG that doesn't even open. I opened it with notepad and managed to find two dropbox links and neither of those work anyway. A bit disappointing considering the moneys already come out of my account.
can i get the settings for those shots?

What is the function that is flashing red lights to help you get focus called?
Haven't seen one good photo 😂
Hi
I followed your photos to make photos in night club but I can not have a good result
D5300 and Yongnuo 568 when I direct the flash to the ceiling with the reflector outlet people are not bright enough, very dark
Do you have any advice?
Thank you
sorry for my English
Funny video… Thanks…
what are your camera and flash
settings
Hey man. This is super sweet. Definitely let you know how my first event shoot goes!
Best settings: 1/20 f2.8 ISO 1600-2000 , flash M 1/16 or 1/32 …
How do you focus on your subjects especially when its dark and auto focus is gonna struggle
You kill the club light bro try use f/1.8.. 50mm lens it give more warmer and good pictures
More descriptive
xd wow so different then me – it seems you have to animate people for a Photo while in my club people are begging me to take photos. the second thing i noticed is that your images are realy overexposed thats because of the F 2.8 and the short exposure time – i prefer manual flashes too so i can controll the amount of light which comes out, but 1/4 is realy brutal!. i love using prime lenses. i mostly using a shutter time of 1/40 – 1/60 cause the image stabelization of my Sony cams make this possible – sometimes i have a fisheye lens with me
however things i hate on this kind of jobs are: people who are realy ugly coming in front of you begging for photos because they think they are looking good, and if you refuse the will nerv you all the night till you make a photo and delete it when they walk away.
mostly happens on group portraits with girls is the nervy one girl which looks realy good but think that she is ugly on the photo – so that you have to make like 88 Photos where 87 is perfekt then.
then we have these "delete it" Bitches – Girls who were outside of the target photo but crying that they are on your photo
first place on my hatelist is the "photobomb dickhead" the moment when you have the crowd in you frame it is the perfect picture simply press your shutter button down aaaand – damn there is the chosen one the dickhead with no dancing skills who is in front of the crowd making some dissabled moves and ruins your perfect photo – sadly you cant get this moment again it does not mather how hard you try.
so yeah mot people think that Club Photographer is simple work just press the button and put drunken idiots in your frame, but its so much more – the equipment you have to bring by your own, the time for photo edeting, the stress with some idiots on a event.
at the end i love this job, its like a vecation from the work with product or model photography.
okay so excuse me for my bad grammar im from germany i tried my best
wish you a great time
so those red dots on the people before you take a flick is that to help u take the shot. I ask because I have trouble with this line of work. as im trying to take a pic and my flash in on it won't focus and take the pic because there not light to focus on but then im guessing that doesn't happen if your manually auto focus ????? help if that even makes sense lol
What is the best settings and flashlight for canon 80D ?
Hey man loved the photographs..
I wanted to know what was your manual settings , coz u dint change the settings often for every picture..
Gasolina never gets old xD always make me lose my sh!t…
You kill all the ambient light. You do like point an shoot.
What are the settings to get that "red laser" ligth to focus in darkness? (I have a 5dII and a YoungNuo 685) Thank You!

Someone give me some feedback on my shots? Cheers 🙂 Video was awesome
I'm probably late to the video, but i bought a godox tt350n and it gives 3 small flashes before it actually gives the full power flash for the picture. this is very annoying because people tend to look away at the first "preparing" flash.. any ideas on how to fix this?
Direi di no.
Great pictures but that wasn't the Migos
your photos are garbage
